[Question] One piece manga vs anime.

Should i read one piece manga or stick to the anime? are animated fights/epic music worth wating for in anime, or should i jump on manga? and if so what chapter is anime currently on?

Yep, as soon as I finished the anime, I went to the manga. Can't say I'm disappointed but I became a huge fan of the anime so I was bound to like the manga regardless. My avatar is actually from the manga if you've noticed

Coming from one up to date on both...

I suggest doing both. Though probably if you really love the anime then stick to it, but read the respective chapters after the episode as you'll notice yourself and the anime do two things if you read the current chapter and the fallen behind anime episodes.

1. You'll skip around episodes... Knowing some parts you aren't interested in or find boring (moving to more interesting parts). Could be a plus... But it also means you don't alway really watch the anime.

2. The anime always adds some stuff. I've noticed in Punk Hazard (current arc) they've slightly altered a few of Robin's scenes making her a lot less stealthy and seemingly less intelligent (don't know where you are so no more spoils than that).

Not even for a second, I'm glad I'm where the manga is now. Good shit is going down in the manga right now, I'm by far more excited for OP manga's than Naruto's right now and that says alot for me.

Law is my favorite, he's in disguise in my Ava Lol he's so badass, I think it was pretty funny when he had Chopper on his head too!

I like the anime until Thriller Bark. After that the anime is just not as it used to be. There is something feels off about it ever since Sabaody Archipelago, but I bare with its crappy animation.
