I've been keeping up with the anime for Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyujin for some of you), and I've found that I really like it. It's quite fun to watch, keeps me fairly on the edge of my seat, and makes me wish I didn't have to wait for another episode. However, it's still very early in the story, and there's a lot of room for change.
So what I'd like to ask you all is, What do you not want to see happen in the future of Attack on Titan?
Before you post, I would please ask one thing: there are many people, like myself, who do not read the manga for Attack on Titan. In respect of those who don't read it, please refrain from spoiling anything that hasn't shown up in the anime yet. Thanks!
As an example, I'll list some of the things I don't want to see.
1) I don't want to see the normal Titan become absolute fodder. It seems to be a classic case in many anime/manga where the large hordes of enemies suddenly become nothing but filler. Right now, even the normal Titans are still extremely dangerous—they can be killed, but it's difficult enough that lots of people still die and they're still a huge threat. I believe that this kind of maintenance over strengths can make for a really good show.
2) This sort of ties in with the previous example: I don't want their to be a viciously huge power curve. It's become a staple in DBZ, and Naruto more recently as well, where the main characters get so overwhelmingly powerful that it FORCES everyone that isn't critical to the story into cattle-mode. The last thing I want to see is Eren's Titan form sprouting dragon heads that shoot indestructible fireballs with a 2-mile wide explosion radius all over the place. In fact, I don't want any Titan's doing that...it's a bit ridiculous really. When the main characters are still on the same level as everyone else, it makes everything more interesting—teamwork is still necessary and everything is far less predictable.
There's some other things, but this thread isn't all about me, and the post is long enough as it is. So, what do you all not want to see from Attack on Titan? What DO you want to see? Please leave a bit of an explanation with your reply; people saying "I want to see Eren hold 3 swords like Zoro from One Piece" without an explanation is, well, dull. In my opinion.
