I think if someone dies... It should be built up for more than a few pages. I'd go with Kakashi or Gai as good candidates.

Lol! Just realized something. He is dead. So a character has died since Neji. Obito touched his head then destroyed it.

I didn't even notice. I don't count that as a death.

I wrote a whole thread about characters who for their own sake and for the plot NEED. TO. DIE. And why the lack of tension is hurting the story but eh, Kishi's just doing whatever he wants these days. We haven't progressed anywhere in like a year and I actually want one of my favourite characters to just die already (Obito) so we can just move on.

Why Gai did not go ham over Neji's death? He seemed more worried when his students get trapped by the water prison of Kisame.
He would open the 8th gate and kick Obito in the face like in the good old days.

Everybody's insanely out of character lately, almost as if they are all side characters who Kishi believes he has no use for so that the main character and 3 seemingly unimportant side characters can take the stage for way too long. Hm....

Seriously, we both know each other's opinions on the Neji situation and how BS it is but ugh, the fact that Kakashi is still alive annoys me even more than Neji's death. It's awful.
