A good thread. However, if you are trying to deduce who will win in a fight, comparing powers is pointless. The plot is the only thing that decides who wins a fight.

Well if were gonna add a character status to battles won then, for naruto Weakened Kakuzu and replace gaara with one tails since he didnt really "Beat" gaara he just woke him up. Sasuke also beat a whole bunch of samurai, he kinda beat killer bee.

Naruto tied with Gaara and actually lost to Kabuto. He had an overwhelming support against a nerfed (yet he almost died), which cannot be really counted as a battle.

Going by that logic:

Naruto didn't beat Gaara, because Sasuke had previously fought Gaara and wounded him. Naruto wouldn't have been able to defeat Gaara in his base form (can't get around the sand).

Naruto didn't defeat Kakuzu, cuz Kakuzu was wounded from fighting team ten and Kakashi.

Naruto didn't defeat Pein, cuz Kurama interrupted the fight. And Hinata helped.

With Kurama he had Kushina's help defeating him.

You can't just take away someone's wins if you don't like how they got them. Yes, he did defeat Gaara btw. His siblings had to help him retreat in part 1.
