No restrictions.

Location is exactly where they are in the manga right now.

Basic knowledge for both. E.g Minato knows Hashirama's wood has bijuu suppression abilities and Hashirama knows Minato's style is space time jutsu.

Make the assumption that Minato's Bm works just like Naruto's Bm.

Hashirama stomps.

Shinsusenju plain out SHAT on Kyuubi + PS + Madara.

What can 50% Kyuubi do?

I don't think so. Minato wont get caught in any mokuton because he can teleport and he could warp shinusenju just like he did the charged Jubidama. It's not 50% kyuubi it's bm Minato.

hashirama would toy with him.

the mokujin would catch any bijudama that he fires. the moment BM minato attempts to engage the mokujin in cqc, one pat of the head disables kuramas power. the flower world then ends it.

or

since shinsuusenju would clear the entire battlefield, minato dies regardless of his ability to teleport.

Mokujin was oblitarated by the blast from a fairly small bijuudama and given it's size I don't see it catching a charged one. So it wouldn't simply catch all bijuudama's as they're not all the same.

FTW, really? That's easily destroyed with a bijuu dama and Minato being in the 9 tails would keep him away from the pollen and willpower alone would keep him awake.

Minato can teleport shinsuusenju. Judging by Naruto's durability feats in bm where he's able to tank a laser from the Juubi, it wouldn't be surprising if he could outright tank it's attacks.

BM Minato would put up a decent fight but, SM Hashi takes this mid difficulty.

I'm disappointed in this thread. I was expecting an extensive analysis of why BM Naruto > SM Hashirama. After seeing the BM Naruto > Edo Madara thread, I've been patiently awaiting this one and have been thoroughly disappointed. I shall wait till the arguments for BM Naruto arrives before I make my final judgement. Zzz

EDIT: Oh, this is Minato. Ah well, more waiting for that naruto thread to convince me.

It's not that type of thread where I go through both characters abilities. It's just a simple vs thread and people hopefully give their reasons on why they think 'X' wins.

50% kurama is half the size of 100% kurama. just the starting tbb of a full kyuubi would be bigger than a starting tbb from BM minato. minato would need to charge a bijudama over twice the size of his casual one to even make what you are saying feasible. hashirama wont sit down while he charges a bijudama.

i said that the flower world would end it after the kurama avatar is taken out of play. willpower wont make him wake up instantly. none of the 5 kage woke up instantly. you need some willpower feats from minato to suggest that he will instantly awaken. hashirama only needs a second to obliterate a sleeping minato.
Minato can teleport shinsuusenju.
nope. he has no feats of warping anything even remotely close to that scale.

because the V1 juubis laser carved out a valley right?

Firstly, he doesn't transform into 50% kurama he transforms into bm. I disagree with it being half the size of the original kyuubi, you can find scans supporting both sides because of Kishi's inconstancy. It doesn't make sense for the kyuubi to be several times larger than the other bijuu since every time they're put together they've been roughly the same size, I'm talking about the child versions. It seems like he intended for them to all be the same size.
Also the starting point of a tbb is the same it starts from nothing and forms it's chakra into a bijuu dama.

How would Hashirama even take out the kurama avatar given Minato can warp all over the place. You're also forgetting how fast Minato's base shushin is(considerably faster than the other Hokage) and then boosted by bm's speed. He can easily get out of the pollen's range. Here's an old thread on some points on various ways to deal with the technique, it's not that tricky the 5 kages dealt with it easily up until Madara forced them into the pollen's range.

As for willpower. How about the whole Minato vs Kyuubi/Obito fight. By the end of it he showed willpower when having a giant nail stuck in him and his wife to protect his baby and continued to do what's best for the village.
nope. he has no feats of warping anything even remotely close to that scale.

Try a charged Juubidama which dwarfed the Juubi.

You're kidding right? That valley is small time compared to the Juubi.

You are aware guys that there is no such thing as BM Minato, right? There's only BM EDO Minato, who is actually a toy summon of Orochimaru.
How can such threads even exist, ehh.

what biju is minato using? 50% kurama. its obvious why using the child version of the biju is wrong when comparing their current sizes. dont even bring that up.

what happened to kurama after half its existence was stripped from it? it got smaller.

minato will need to actually engage hashirama to fight him. only one tap is needed to suppress kuramas power.

its his duty to do whats best to protect the village. as i said before, hashirama only needs a second.

no it didnt 'dwarf' the juubi. the trail the juubidama is leaving is only as wide as the juubis body.

I used it because that's the only time they've stood next to each other. They were all the same size back then, every single one of them grew to the same size later but the kyuubi is suddenly twice as big, makes sense.

That's not a starting point, they start from pretty much nothing and gradually get bigger by putting in more chakra. It doesn't even matter because a charged version easily dwarfs what what that wood technoqie can physically catch.

It's more than a tap, and I doubt he's even getting a tap on him due to FTG.

Said it before, chakra suppression clearly takes more than a second.

Cutting through a mountain range like a hot knife through butter < small valley. Makes sense Hashirama's destructive power is clearly above the Juubi's.

It didn't damage the ground because it was aimed above the ground so the laser barely hit the ground.

it depends whether Minato successfully hits Hashirama with bijuu dama.

well in any case, i would say Hashirama wins this.

i said nothing about the starting point. i said the starting bijudama. the casual bijudama that any biju can fire off quickly.

this is irrelevant. the only thing that matters is the size of the bijudama after its fired. the fired bijudama

Minato in that position wouldn't teleport? It's also not only a tap as there's nothing to put to sleep all it is is chakra taking the form of the kyuubi not an actaully kyuubi.

There was no dishonesty. Don't delude yourself the Juubi's laser was a lot more destructive.

You can see how far it went, it cleared a mountain range. I don't know how you think that small valley Naruto and Sasuke were easily running around in, is less that the Juubi's attack.

No that's according to you.
full kyuubi>half kyuubi=other biju in size is shown by the manga.

They don't just start as a sphere, they gradually get to that point.

i
look at the chakra that both kyuubis are molding for the bijudama. its proportionate to the size of their mouths. they both charge their respective bijudamas in the same amount of time. the full kyuubis bijudama is stronger and larger purely because of the size difference between 100% and the the 50% kyuubi.
Minato in that position wouldn't teleport? It's also not only a tap as there's nothing to put to sleep all it is is chakra taking the form of the kyuubi not an actaully kyuubi.
its the same tech that yamato used to subjugate the 4 tailed kyuubi on the palm of the mokujins hand. if the mokujin makes contact, minato can say goodbye to the avatar.

Irrelevant because it goes against your argument? The pictures showed the bijuudama was bigger than the Juubi, from multiple angles.
the manga showed it as no bigger than the juubi itself after it was fired. all this means is that the ball was compressed. i dont know why you are being dishonest.

There was no dishonesty. Don't delude yourself the Juubi's laser was a lot more destructive.

nobody ever talked about the V2 juubidama.

too bad i never talked about the V2 juubidama.
even so, VOTE is much deeper than what was left after the juubidama.

Minato wins. Eventhough Hashirama possess suppressing abilities, reason why i put him above Naruto, it won't work on BM Minato because he is a teleporter as well. Because of this Hashirama would have a hard time to catch or/and suppress his chakra either with wood dragon or the gates and even if he catch him, Minato(being a teleporter) would easily get out of the way(Naruto even gone with shunshin alone). And besides teleporting ability, he does possess the fire power to defeat Hashirama.

Shinsuusenju could be the problem however, but since Hashirama is fighting a teleporter, he could not know where to attack, and let's not forget that one marking stays forever, so if he marks Shinsuusenju for example, he may be capable to warp his Bijubomb attacks directly on it or in the location where Hashirama could be and thus making it a really dangerous move. If he also extends his chakra with his chakra arms for example, he could even teleport it away. The fact he possess Kyubi's chakra in this scenario allows him to spam techniques without running out of chakra. So basically all in all, Minato has the means to defeat SM Hashirama in my opinion, but whoever wins, it would certainly not be easy
