As we see here , Sasuke amaterasu'd Obito , but it seems that the Amaterasu takes time to do its effect . I mean , it takes time to burn you completely , beacause Obito had time to do even Kamui to get rid of it .

What I'm trying to say is , if Nagato or Pain gets hit by it , he can avoid it via Shinra Tensei , because the amaterasu takes time to burn you at the part you got hit .

I know that Nagato avoided it via Shinra Tensei when Itachi hit him , but Itachi fans say that he was edo , thus he didn't feel pain at that time . But anyway ,

Pretty much , Amaterasu is useless against Nagato .

Nagato should have a counter but I don't think it's because amaterasu takes time before taking effect because (in the anime) after the sasuke/Obito thing, Obito commented that it's a good thing Itachi did not know all the secrets of his body (and I think itachi knew kamui and its secrets.

Amaterasu can be thrown away using Shinra Tensei. Amaterasu can be countered but cannot be avoided because the flames are quick. Also Pain cannot keep Shinra Tensei active for long enough. Once the shockwave crosses the victim, the user is vulnerable to attacks.

Dude, here Sasuke is the one who'll be spamming Amaterasu on Pain/Nagato. And I'm talking about Nagato's/Pain's speed to avoid the flames which is impossible in this case

An actual body would be dead, since Nagato couldn't counter Itachi without Kabuto intervening. Even if a path can an Amaterasu, they'd probably die from a Kagu-Tsuchi.
