I have noticed that a lot of people on any Naruto forum have a deep hatred for Sasuke, calling him emo and whatnot. I think it's unfair to say a person does not like Sasuke because he is an emo and shit, because at least he has a reason to be.
Let's all keep in mind exactly what happened to Sasuke, and why he is "emo". When Sasuke was 7 (Or however old he was when his family was massacred), he arrived at the scene of his brother, the man he admired most, standing over the corpse of his mother and father. Not only that, but Itachi then proceeded to actually use Tsukuyomi (sp?) on his SEVEN YEAR OLD brother. Sasuke was forced to watch his entire family repeatedly slaughtered in front of his own eyes for 24 hours. At seven years old, the emotional scarring of this would be unimaginable.
Sasuke always was hoping to be like Itachi when he was a kid, and always dreamed of surpassing him. At seven years old, I'm sure Sasuke felt the entire massacre was his fault, similar to when parents get divorced and the child blames himself, and had he only been as strong as his brother he could have prevented it.
Then further down the line after Sasuke was finally beginning to move forward and progress with his life, Itachi came back for Naruto. Once again after Sasuke confronted Itachi he was forced to endure Tsukuyomi once more and all those old wounds were opened, which is why he went to Orochimaru.
The fact Itachi did that Sasuke makes me wonder if he really is the "good-guy, unbeatable god" that some of you make him out to be.
I'm not a Sasuke fanboy in any way. I like Sasuke and think he is a good ninja, and just don't think it's right when people come on the forum posting about how, "SAUCEGAY IS DUMB", or something similar to that.
Basically the point of this thread is to ask why all of you don't like Sasuke (If you don't that is).
