[Discussion] New World Strong People

To be able to use Haki is a must in the New World if a pirate, fighter etc. want's to survive there
because it seems all the strong people in the New World can use Haki or Has DF abililty.

Cavendish, Rebecca, Barto etc and maybe the top 5 in every Block can use Haki.

What do you think?

Well not everyone has to have them pending their other skills... But the elite of the New World undoubtedly will.

As of these games... I only see: Luffy, Don Chinjau (need to learn that spelling), Burgess, and Cavendish having it.


Bartolomeo seems like he relies on his walls more than Haki. Rebecca hasn't shown anything, but who knows yet.

I'm sure Doflamingo's tournament members either have Haki or were sent as counters to Luffy. Diamante and Lao G at least will have it.




Though I wouldn't be surprised if more had it, but didn't show it...

Only the Monster Trio have Haki within the Strawhats. Those others strengths lie not in battle, but their job on the crew, so it doesn't really matter right now if they have Haki.

I don't think everyone will be able to.
About 70% of the new world will have it.
The other 30% will be regular citizens and the occasional few fodder.

Like Chinjao said to Luffy that he will meet many people who hold the King's will (haoshoku). So if thats the case of CoC, then I guess alot of people in New World use Armament haki.
Just like DFs were rare in East blue but alot more common in 1st half of Grand Line, Paradise, I guess that is also the same for Haki that its rare in paradise but not in New World and alot if people use it in New World.

1.Burgess (based on the speed he won A block)
2.Luffy
3.Chinjao
4.Bartolomeo
5.Cavendish

however this being said does not immediately mean someone is stronger than another. I think Bartolomeo is stronger than Chinjao. He has lesser haki but his devil fruit strengthens him , haki IS a must in the new world for a big shot...

I'm pretty damn certain Rebecca does not have Haki. In fact, I highly doubt she even knows what it is :/ Seeing as she continues to b!tch & moan about getting the Mera Mera no Mi because she absolutely believes that that very fruit is the power she needs to defeat Doffy. I mean, anyone with basic knowledge of Haki would know, you'd have a much better chance at beating a Royal Warlord if you have Haki, in contrast to having a Logia.

No shit, cos the fact that you're opponent is proficient in CoA (meaning he can negate the fire) bears no relevance to who's gonna win the fight... true....

You may not be intangible against someone with CoA, but the Mera Mera no Mi's offensive power can still pose a threat to Doflamingo, because he cant block fire with strings. Besides, mastering the Mera Mera no Mi is probably easier than mastering Haki without a proper teacher, for example: Rayleigh or Shanks.

True... However, the only thing I think she's got going for her would be speed. But, just as you said, I guess we'd just have to wait and see.
