Are not that great when he was alive. You know the reason why he was able to use Kage Bunshin? Because he has Kurama's chakra. If he had the chakra to do it, he would have done it against Obito, or he was not confident enough with his chakra levels to split it in half and fight Obito, which means they are not huge.

That is what I think. He has good chakra, just not Senju level or anything special.

I'm pretty sure Minato was able to use a shadow clone or two before he died, just because he didn't use 1 on obito does not mean he couldn't.

maybe he didnt need it to fight obito the first time, i mean he did kinda own him without useing a clone to help. and this is just an assumtion but the hokage protector guys i forget there names, need 3 people to do FTG maybe thats becasue its a complex tenique or maybe its cause of how much chakra it takes, if the latter is true than minato can do it by him self cause of his chakra levels and it takes the other three three people to do it because they have low chakra levels

As I said, he may not have been confident fighting Obito with half of his chakra, which means he does not have huge [Bijuu] level chakra. Some people make Minato out to be a chakra boss.

FTG is complex, and Minato taught the three of them to do it together. FTG has not shown to be utterly chakra taxing, especially if you just FTG yourself.

I guess I can agree with that

Dunno the point of the thread, but saying Minato doesn't have great chakra reserve is laughable

- Spent entire night maintaining Kyubi in Kushina

- Shunshin and Multiple FTG either to save his son, kushina and so on

- Warped Kyubi's TBB(S/T barrier)

That was before even fighting Obito.

- Later he used multiple FTG either to escape Obito's warping, escape his chain and finish him with the version2 combined with Rasengan

- Used other FTG and shunshin while coming back to the village and stop Kyubi's Bijudama

- Summoned Gamabunta(part1 Naruto needed Kyubi's chakra to accomplish it although he had huge amount of chakra),

- Warped full Kurama(bigger than all tailed beasts, infact comparable to Perfect Susanoo in size) and his formed Tailed Beast bomb. Also before that, taking Kushina and his son to warp them to safety(to avoid the TBB's blast)

- Shared some part of his chakra inside Naruto

- Performed 2high level sealing techniques(Shiki fujin and the double Shishou fuin), used another summoning jutsu(summoned Gerotora) to give him the seal

Also he had no reason to split his chakra in half when he needed to focus on the enemy in his sight, already knowing on the other side, Hiruzen could handle the situation meanwhile. He already knew the battle wouldn't take long since he noticed the opponent didn't want a long battle and it indeed didn't last long. 1minute at most.

It doesn't matter how much chakra you have. What is important is the purpose of the use of said chakra. You can't just waste chakra uselessly and Minato is the last type of person to do such a thing especially in his situation(having 2Hokages in a village). Even Naruto was warned against using clones when they realised it would be for nothing:

He is your average Kage level chakra. He isn't known for his chakra, since his way of fighting is a "quick" type, so it fits Minato perfectly.

We don't know how much chakra it takes to use FTG or how much chakra it uses. Right now, it barely uses any chakra from what we can see. Shunshin does not use a lot of chakra either. An almost dead Hiruzen used Shiki Fujin thrice with two Kage bunshin. Not much of a feat.

So old Hiruzen is also he bigger chakra because he used clones. LoL?

and who told you that you have to use every jutsu you have in a fight? LOl
