So, what are you trying to say, you think that Nagato, who's been using his abilities his whole life cant use them better than kabuto? If he was doing it himself, he could possibly even take itachi with bee & naruto. Besides, it doesnt make a difference when it comes to nagato vs naruto. Naruto used his rasengan again, knowing that the dude could absorb that. And turend BM knowing that only SM works on obito. Hes stupid AF, you cant possibly be saying he stands a chance against nagato dude

You seemed to be confused with the quotes of kmw1811
But he was saying that Kabuto was controlling Nagato, forcing strong jutsus one after the other to capture Naruto and Bee. That's where Kabuto shitted on them. He missed Itachi's whereabouts.
And I wanted to say that even when Nagato was aged enough to die any moment (as he looked don't take it seriously) he controlled his paths efficiently to destroy the village, fighting Jiraiya (even Itachi thought before engaging with him). That is called as Brain Work. So nothing less can be expected from Nagato without paths. But Edo Nagato wasn't conscious while fighting Bee and Naruto. Kabuto forgot Itachi ( the main player who could twist the whole thing up side down). Edo Nagato (if still acting as an enemy) would have kept check on all three shinobis while battling.

I honestly couldn't have said it better myself...I had no intentions of belittling Nagato's abilities, I was just saying that Naruto had already beaten Nagato (practically a Rinnegan master), thus, I don't understand why Sasuke would prove any better with the Rinnegan...Nagato > Sasuke hands down meaning that Sasuke has NO CHANCE against Naruto AT THE MOMENT, unless we see some sort of an asspull

Forreal though, I'd rather see Sasuke get a Sage mode and combine that with EMS...I think that would make he and Naruto pretty even...

Yes its true that it was kabuto pulling the strings, but what I was saying was that if Nagato was pulling the strings, the situation would be the same, if not worse for naruto. Naruto also got saved from obito by guy and kakashi in last weeks episode, and he doesnt stand a chance against madara. In short, naruto cant beat any of the current rinnegan users.

Soooooo, sasuke having a rinnegan would definetly increase his chances at defeating naruto. Of course, he cant pull the same moves as nagato as he doesnt have the experience, but as you can see with his MS, he learned everything pretty fast. Also, (one of my previous posts) Madara showed us that he could enhance certain paths with his susano'o (and susano'o was his EMS speciality). Maybe sasuke could enhance a rinnegan path with his enton as that is his speciality.

If you check out some of the episodes of that arc again, you'll remember that nagato was totally exhausted when he started his fight with naruto. Despite the fact that nagato was almost of chakra, naruto still needed kurama to take over his body to fight nagato, cus naruto couldnt do it himself. When he actually tried to fight nagato himself, he lost (not to mention that kcm>sm). You can say it was kabuto pulling the strings, but as ive said before, nagato wouldve even put up a better fight if kabuto didnt.

And for the powerup...well yeah, i cant say the rinnegan is a super logical power up, i'll have to give you that. But its not that far fetched either. Orochimaru wanted to take over sasuke's body to awaken the rinnegan. When he realized that he could never get sasuke's body, he wanted to 'watch his wind' or something. His interest in sasuke might result into helping sasuke to get the rinnegan (oro has senju dna). Of course, madara got it at old age, but he was the first one trying and didnt have that much info on it whereas orochimaru has been researching this for years together with kabuto. Also, the manga is about surpassing the old. So this way it could be possible. However, I also prefer him getting a different powerup. I made a thread about it, maybe you'll like it

I understand that Nagato may have been exhausted, but that's like saying Naruto could've easily wiped the floor with Obito if he didn't become the Juubi's jinchuuriki...Obito was exhausted even before he and Kakashi went into the Kamui dimension...I still believe that Naruto can beat Nagato if he had control over his own actions in his own body...He knows so much about the Rinnegan that I don't think that Nagato could really pull out any surprises and if Naruto played his cards right like he is now, then he'd win with medium difficulty...

And I checked out your thread, I don't agree that the curse mark could create a new type of Rinnegan/Sharingan, that's what we label as an asspull ...It would've been done a long ass time ago if it could happen...
