He was vrey arrogant and highly underestimated Naruto, now instead of viewing Naruto as an equal he must view him as a superior shinobi. I'm excited I think it will add more growth for Sasuke's character that'll either make him look himself in the mirror and question his thinking or just become hungry for power. Either way I can't wait. Hopefully Sasuke's powerup isn't rinnegan or PS, I want him to have something unique to himself. Plus PS is too destructive I want to see that old school analytical Sasuke we know.

Btw Sasuke will be on Naruto's level again because it would just be bad writing if the final fight were to be so one sided. We need to see both shinobi take each other to their very last breath, like Hashirama and Madara.

But I must say this; Naruto geting the other half of Kurama's chakra is inevitable, combine that with the fact that Naruto has the rest of the 7 Bijuu chakra and Sage Mode, how can Sasuke honestly complete without it seeming like an asspull?..Kishi may have written himself into a hole.

It may sound crazy but the Elder Son doujutsu or time manipulation is making more sense

Yeah I don't know why other Sasuke fans are so fixated on him getting a rinnegan that he'll most likely never perfect better than Nagato or a PS that Madara has. Susano'o has made Sasuke's fights boring imo, Sasuke vs Itachi and Sasuke vs Deidara are two of my favorite fights in shippuden. Now is the time for Kishi to show us something new.

I think that Naruto may receive a "power down" if he and bee decide to part ways with their bijuus so that the two slides above can take place. Would that make them equal enough to you?

I disagree Goku vs Vegeta was never as important to DBZ as Naruto vs Sasuke is to this series. It'll most likely be the final battle so I'm positive that Sasuke will catch back up to Naruto.

Hey at one point it seemed like Kishi was foreshadowing a Obito and Kakashi sharingan combo during the Obito flashback but from the looks of it, that won't be happening.

Sure, but we haven't seen Sasuke solo a sage mode user, which Naruto would still have. Do they have to have exactly the same power for this manga to work?

If Naruto doesn't lose Kurama, he would have to gain the other 8 tailed beasts for Kurama's memory/ S06P prophecy to come true. What power up would Sasuke need then?

Granted, Naruto w/o Kurama v. Sasuke does seem to favor Sasuke. The show ain't called Sasuke though. Several people have made it their goal to change the shinobi system. I think what happens with the bijuus will be more based on where kishi wants to end the manga and less based on Naruto and Sasuke being perceived as equal power.

The main thing Sasuke needs to accept he was wrong to seek revenge and commit such horrible acts. Yes, Naruto is superior to him combatwise. However, I don't care who can win a fight. Sasuke needs to accept Naruto as the superior decision-maker. He needs to accept Naruto is better than him since Naruto stayed in the village while Sasuke left. Naruto is a better man, than Sasuke. That's what Sasuke needs to accept. I want Sasuke character to be developed based on Naruto's development. I don't want development to be triggered by who can solo whom.
That, and Naruto wants Sasuke to recognize him as an equal, not as a superior.

However, having said that, I do think Sasuke will acknowledge Naruto as the better man and fighter after he loses thier battle. Hopefully, after Sasuke acknowledges this it will go something like this.
