Sasuke has his sharingan, so he can see chakra and predict movements which will come in handy vs shadow clones.

suusanoo will come be vital in against naruto's overall superior speed and psychical strength.

While naruto has shadow clones sasuke has extra appendages which will work wonders when naruto attacks from multiple angles and even out the versatility of attacking and defending simultaneously.

SM Naruto wouldnt stand a chance to win against EMS Sasuke. Besides, Kishimoto isnt going to weaken his main character, the very idea is ridiculous. Naruto said that hes going to surpass all Hokages, without the fox within him it wont be possible.

Uhm, I was never comparing sasuke's skills to naruto's :| I was just stating that rinnegan would be pretty OP for him with his current skillset, especially considering he's faster than nagato(ain't crippled in the first place) and better at taijutsu/kenjutsu. Then there's his versitility in genjutsu which can still paralyse naruto for seconds at a time so... Yea, Rinnegan would be pretty fitting, especially since it'd be a great time to show off it's full potential, not Some retcon'd/Pnj'd bullshit potential just to let the story progress...

As to your last point, it's not over used. There's only 1 Rinnegan in this manga and that's madara's. Everyone else is just stealing/using his rinnegan. There's plenty of people using mokuton also but few complain about that. It's pretty obvious at this point that naruto will pretty be just like SO6P Though I believe he'd not have the eyes(i think SO6P had that rinnegan before he sealed juubi in himself so there'd not really be a way for naruto to get it), while sasuke just gets the power of his eyes. Something like elder and younger son face off.

The only way I can see naruto truly becoming SO6P Is if he somehow gets rinnegan (he meets most other requirements) and i'm not seeing how he's going to do that.

No, they do die from the extraction just not right away. Kushina was going to die that's why Minato said he was going to seal part of her inside of Naruto.

OP: Yes, he will or else one of the major themes of Naruto is broken. In the end Naruto will be the more powerful of the two but Sasuke will still be very powerful. In Part 1, Naruto never doubted he could surpass Sasuke just because Sasuke was born on Uchiha. Now, the theme applies to Sasuke. Just because Naruto is the child of prophecy doesn't make him better or unsurpassable.
(I do think that Naruto will be the more powerful of the two, but Sasuke will still be very, very close to Naruto's level.)

Naruto being the child of prophecy has nothing to do with power levels. The prophecy said he would bring great peace into the world, not that he would be the most powerful ninja in existence.
Naruto parallels both the younger son and the Sage. The younger son was meant to succeed his father. Naruto will be the younger son that succeeds the Sage. He will have the powers of the younger son only. You don't need all of the powers of the Sage to succeed the Sage. Why? The Sage choose his younger son (who just had the body part of his powers) to succeed him. He didn't then tell the elder to surrender his eye powers to the younger. The younger was going to succeed the Sage without those powers. However, something went wrong. It was presumably the elder's rebellion. This is why we never hear of the younger as his father's successor. However, this part of the story hasn't been sufficiently explored to know for sure.
Becoming the Sage's successor means he will correct the mistakes of his previous Sage, finding true peace and having the tailed beasts like in harmony with the ninja. "Surpassing the previous generation" isn't about power. It's about building on the base the previous generation has left and building it better.
If Naruto becomes the Sage, then Sasuke's character was entirely pointless. His purpose was to be the yin while Naruto was the yang. Now, Naruto is all of a sudden both thanks to the Rinnegan. Sasuke is the second most important character in this story. He will have a hand in the conclusion, as he has been relevant for the entire story. He is too an important character to be forgotten by Kishimoto. Finally, if Naruto becomes the Sage than the theme about teamwork is broken. Naruto won't need a team. He'll just fix the world problems himself. With that power he might not even need tnj. Naruto having all of the Sages' powers would be a horrible ending.

my ideal ending: Is Naruto has younger son's powers (yang), while Sasuke has the elder's (yin.) Naruto fixes the worlds problems by convincing others to embrace peace. Sasuke functions as a yin adviser to Naruto. (To make balanced decisions, you need yin and yang. Sasuke has yin but not yang. vice versa with Naruto. This is why they need to be a team.) Naruto brings peace to the world. By doing so Naruto succeeds and surpasses the Sage by doing something the Sage could not. happily every after.

Well PS is an obvious power up that's coming to Sasuke, the question is what is the other one. Sasuke is currently two power ups behind so my question is what is the other one?

My guess would be a more advanced version of the Cursed Seal or something like that sense Nature energy has become so important lately.

Besides the final battle would be lame if it was that one sided.

We are missing the point, that we have not seen Sasuke fight Naruto for awhile. Sasuke and Naruto will fight on even terms, regardless of who wins. That's how these manga work. Anyone expecting a curbstomp will be disappointed. My Japanese friends agree. In the end Naruto prolly beats Sasuke, but it will be after a hard-fought victory and a heart-warming reunion.

that logic is horrible.

Just because Sasuke isn't completely good doesn't mean he is evil. It's called gradual character development. Sasuke is clearly crawling his way to redemption. He is improved his Five Kage self. He saves his comrades now. He saved Sakura though that couldn't have possibly been for ulterior reasons. he gave up revenge. he told Orochimaru this and had no reason to lie to him. Naruto sensed he had grown less dark. Sasuke's motives lie in the future now, as evidenced in him wanting to be Hokage to change the system. Before Naruto couldn't tnj Sasuke since their goals were so different. Now, he can because they have the same goals just different ways going about him. they'll just have to combine their yin and yang philosophies.
They will fight since Sasuke still has darkness in his heart of hearts, albeit much less darkness but Naruto will tnj Sasuke.
Lastly, Sasuke's purpose is to surpass Madara. That doesn't mean just power. It means surpassing his decisions. It means learning from Madara's mistakes and returning to the village.
