[Discussion] Why I hate racism

So once again, I would like to bring up this topic.
I find racism ,ignorant,childish and unintelligent.

Why hate a whole group of people just because either certain people from that group did something to you or they are just a little different from you.

Today, I was at school, it was lunch, and it gets very hot california where I live, so I saw some shade, there was a group of students. I started walking over there, to sit and enjoy the coolness, until some girl ( Went to middle school with) told me not to because they were arabics and muslims there. So I said, "So?, your point is?", and she said " They are arabics and muslims there, didn't you hear me?". For some reason, I got pissed off. So I asked "What is wrong with being arabic or muslim, and what is the issue of me sitting there?" Yet she couldn't reply because she was being nothing but racist and ignorant.

I noticed since middle school, people have treated arabics and muslim like dirt for no reason. I don't understand why either. They are people just like us, coming to schoool, obviously to learn, or because they have to.
Everyone I knew, always for some reason never liked arabics and muslims, and the ones who did mange to befriend non-arabics or muslims, had to pretend to hate their own people. Which was really sad, one girl even made up at that her dad was white and her mom was arabic, just so she wouldn't get picked on.

I honestly, give no f-cks about what race or background you have come from, if you want to be friends, let's be friends.
If your arabic, yay. Nothing wrong with being arabic or muslim, if thats the case then there is something wrong being human.

Some people try to justify as to why they hate them, which is for petty reasons.

I don't understand why people dislike arabics or muslims, just because of a few terrioist seem to have come from the country they have come from or from the same race, doesn't give you the right to classify every arabic or muslim as a terriost.

Some people always complain about racism on their race, but yet turn around and play with the same cards. -___-


I expierenced racism, and it makes me feel like crap, and the last thing I want to do is make somene feel like that crap just because of their race.

Racism is stupid and ignorant, I really hope one day humans can just realize, that hating a race, is just f-cking stupid.

Racism will always be around no matter what. Doesnt matter how technologically advanced we get or if a million philosophers come together to come up with a solution. Its just tragically our nature. Best thing we can do is get along by not getting along.

I agree! I don't like racism at all. Lots of people can be racist to people in my school because someone is black or they make racist jokes. I believe that everyone is created equally and I think there shouldn't be racism at all, but it's something that we have to deal with.

That's the issue now, people think if they keep quiet about it, it will just die down, that may work with rumors, but it doesn't work with serious matters like racism.
I'm sure 100s of years ago people thought if they didn't speak of it, it would go away. Too bad it's the 21 century, and even teenagers are being racist. Seems like keeping quiet about it, isn't the solution, and sadly there is no solution towards racism because someone will always be racist.

The least you can do is confront the issue.
Rather than not saying anything.

Racist jokes are only funny when it isn't an attempt to bring someone else down and just be a joke, though when people get offended, I think the person making them should stop because they are obviously not making others feel good with their joke.

It's very tragic, how the human race outcome is.

I want to confront the issue on racism, because I am either curious to what is the person reason for being racist, or I am highly upset about the sitatuion, such as what I had in my OP.

well racism is slowly losing, sure arabs and jews and asians are treated badly but consider how it was a 100 years ago. much much worse, at least in the first world countries racism is slowely getting less and less common. with gay marriage being accepted into law in more countries and more women in professional jobs, i think until the next century we will resolve the problem, at least in some countries.

Muslims are evil! Just look at them and their evil sand hording ways! If it wasn't for them we could all live in glass houses but noooo they have to hold the world's sand supply hostage and force us to pay tons for a little bit of glass! We should declare war on them and take back all of that sand so we can all revel in the sand surplus!



Yeah, I just can't believe some people are dumb enough to actually blindly hate Muslims. Muslim are pretty peaceful people that have been given a terrible card. They have been oppressed for so long that they are trying to decide who they are and are experiencing growing pains, just like Christians during the crusades.
