Question about Izanagi/Izanami

Madara has rinnegan and sharingan in one eye socket, and there completely two different doujutsu even though rinnegan is a sharingan upgrade.

So my question is: If madara uses izanagi or izanami will these jutsu close madara's entire eye socket or just the eye that madara has activated at that time???

Like will izanagi/izanami close the rinnegan part of madara's eye but he can still use his EMS only?? (and vise versa)

It will close the whole eye. Since it is his sharingan that tranformed into the rinnegan. Just as 3 tomo transforms into MS.

yea but rinnegan is a completely different doujutsu

3 tomoe and MS is the same doujutsu just different levels

madara had to add special dna to his body to get rinnegan, its not natural

the Rinnegan is the most powerful doujutsu in NV. But I doubt it can use the same techniques as the sharingan, especially Izanami/Izanagi

the Sharingan is a eye of hatred, the sage wasn't consumed by hatred. The sharingan was perfected by Uchiha long after the sage died. Im pretty sure he has no idea what a Izanami/ Izanagi is. Although im pretty sure those moves derive from some technique the rinnegan is capable of but we havent seen yet

i dont think his eye closes literally...people are getting to much info from danzo and his eyes on his arm....i just think his sharingan goes gray

You are correct. Izanagi/izanami are uchiha techniques it is unlikely that the sage knows anything about them. Izanagi was derived from creation of all things that the sage used. Izanagi on its own is not creation of all things but a jutsu derived from it.

He can't use Izanami cause it was only for Kabuto & I think he can since he is an edo , he can't get affect it by Izanagi .

He was talking about the creation of all things not "Izanami" itself, it was derived from Coat.

look at the top right corner of that picture, it says the sage used izanagi to "create"

its confirmed that the sage can used these jutsu and he was using rinnegan
