Chapter 6 is here! I planned on making it short since I feel like the other chapters were somewhat long. Not to mention a lot will be happening in 7, so I wanted to make this one short.

I want to see if you liked it. Don't just be like, "Good job!"

Chapter 6

She finally reached the place where she was raised as a kid. Except it no longer stood. All the buildings were demolished, and blood was everywhere. The smoke she saw came from the hut where she used to stay at; it was the only place where there was smoke. No matter where she looked there was a trace of blood. She looked around, wondering if anyone had survived. She was desperate to find anyone who was alive.

“R-run, Frey,” she barely heard someone say. That voice sounded familiar, “Chief!”

She looked in the center of the destruction to find that the leader was on the ground, a puddle of blood under him. She ran over to him, even though she was sure Misha wouldn't be glad to hear that her stomach wound may have got worse. She looked around him, noticing how the puddle kept on getting larger. Her studies taught her well; she knew that the man in front of her was going to die. “What happened here? I wanted to see if you discovered anything about my past.”

“I did, but I can't say it here. We're being watched, please leave before you get killed,” he said between breaths.

She looked around one more time, but didn't see anybody around. She doubt there was anywhere for someone to hide. She looked back at the man before her, and she held back her tears. She felt so helpless, she couldn't save him. There was only one thing she could do, “Aki is alive and well. I was thinking of bringing him along, but he couldn't make it today. I was hoping we could return to this place one day, but now...”

“I'm glad to hear that. Please tell him to never return here. Akito must never be seen by the men that did this. I... want him... to bring peace,” he whispered before he closed his eyes and went still.

She could no longer hold back her tears, or the scream that escaped from her lips. She held her stomach as it protested against everything. She should take a break before she left her home, even though she couldn't believe everything was gone. 'Don't worry, Chief. Aki won't return here, because we decided we would only return after Reori is dead. When that time comes I'll tell him that everything, and everyone, we love is gone.'

The wind suddenly changed, and it was all gathering around the destroyed area. That was odd, the wind never gathered in a single area. In fact, that was supposedly impossible. The situation was similar to whenever they shot the sword as an arrow. She stood up, and went to grab an arrow, and her eyes widened. 'That's right, Misha took my bow and arrows away from me.'

“A survivor? So I didn't waste my time hiding,” Frey heard. She turned around, to see a man with long silver hair down to his waste. His eyes were a gold color, and he wore a black tuxedo. He was smiling at her, but it sent chills down her spine. That man, he was the one that did this to everyone. Anger swelled up inside of her, but then she realized she had to try to calm herself down. She was injured, and he looked like he hadn't broke a sweat.
“I'm only a traveler, nothing else. It's natural to want to help those who need it, right? I can't stand it when I see people die, but I never been here before,” she lied.

“I can tell when people are lying, young lady. It was voted by us, Council, to destroy this area.”

'Council? That sounds familiar,' she thought as her head exploded with pain. She grabbed her head, which never helped with the pain but she still did it. The word Council triggered something; she had to be connected to it somehow. “I did live here, but I wasn't born here. They only took me in after I had no where to go. I have amnesia, and you should know that it's not a lie. Now, please tell me! What is Council?”

“Amnes-! Get out of here, now. If you insist on staying then I will kill you,” he growled at her.

Frey looked into his eyes, and saw fear hidden beyond the anger. She slowly walked away, otherwise she might really be in trouble with her wound. She was too afraid to turn back, but she wouldn't forget what just happened. There was a clue to her past, and she wouldn't let it go so easily. She had to get back before Aki woke up, otherwise she might have to explain what happened.

“Frey!” she heard Misha call out for her. He was running toward her, and Kina was following shortly behind him. “What are you doing here? I told you not to move around yet!”

“I-I wanted to visit where Aki and I came from. However, when I got there everything was...” She couldn't finish the sentence.

“I'm sorry to hear about that, Frey,” Misha said, but she sensed that he hesitated. There was something he wasn't telling her.

'Fine. I won't ask you about Council. I'll follow the clue myself!'

“Aki already woke up. It took a few of our guys to hold him down. He's freaking out about you, especially because we told him you would visit him in a few minutes. Those minutes turned into hours, you know,” Misha said with an annoyed voice.

She ignored him, and continued to walk, Kina walking past her. “We can see Aki again, Kina.”

“I told you that cat isn't allow-”

“Kina will stay by my side!” she yelled, “I don't trust your guys to protect us. I trust Kina to protect us. I don't care what your friends say, but this is what Aki and I want!”

Misha looked like he was going to say something, but decided not to. He only smiled, and escorted Frey back to where Aki was sleeping at. She would talk to Aki about Council after they left that place. She didn't want to stay there much longer, there was something about Misha that she didn't like. She would find out what Misha was hiding, but that wasn't high on her list. She had to defeat Reori, find out her past, and what Misha was hiding.

Already? O_O Well, you've been rather busy, it seemsxd

In terms of errors, it's nothing I didn't mention in the last chapter, so nice work*_* Very sad chapter, and you've left us with more questions once again. I wonder what connection Frey has to the higher-ups:)

Did the repetition get better compared to last chapter? That's the one thing I want to know! xD I'm glad you liked it. And I only had two classes today, and I am very tired but can't sleep. Zzz

Eh, about the same, I'd say. There are just some things that don't need to be said twice or words that have much-needed synonyms, y'know? :) And yeah, I know that feelingxd
