Only Izanami is the real "asspull" of the list. It literally came out of nowhere and was so person specific that it's laughable. It literally would not work on any of the major villains. 1. Madara knows of it 2. Obito knows of it 3. Orochimaru knows what his path is so it wouldn't affect him 4. Same with Nagato.

It literally only applies to Kabuto given his back ground. Everything else you listed can be amply described and was foreshadowed.

An @sspull is when there is no story and or training.
Susanoo is apart of sasuke's hate (or anything the uchiha gives a shet about and live for) which started since part one, not an @sspull.
Sasuke amaterasu was gained by his loyalty to his team, and he thought about team 7.
Kirin was thought up at the beginning of shippuden, he obviously trained off screen because he isn't the main character.

Nothing but Sauske's swordsmen skills is an @sspull because it was random as hell.

Naruto, everything is an @sspull, hands down.

Minato....everything but shushin, hands down.

Madara, LOL EVERYTHING but MS and EMS. Like wtf is with that taijutsu?

Hashirama, sage mode, we've yet to see a story or anything.

Tobirama, shadow clone jutsu, and or edo tensei. Most likely anything else he does is an @sspull unless its water style.

Kabuto, nothing but sage mode, its normal to follow in your mentors footsteps (sasuke dumb af in other words).

How was Sasuke's swordmanship skills a asspull?He was already skilled with ninja weapons like kunai and shuriken so it's only natural he would start training with swords.

Izanagi and Izanami were husband and wife in Shinto religion. Meaning they are a pair, just like Izanagi and Izanami are in the manga.
There's also the fact that Madara taught Obito the Uchiha's Kinjutsu, which further shows Izanami is not an asspull.

its been answered above. What about Kabuto in a war allowing EDO to keep their personalities and talk and ish.
Telling their weaknesses to the Shinobi Alliance. Izanami could work on anybody since it is a loop and many things could take place before its complete and the victim notices its a loop. Sharingan users who know about it before Kabuto was affected by it were only Obito and Madara and Itachi never tried to fight them.

Nope it wasn't an asspull, if anything Kabuto's sm and his abilities was more of a surprise than izanami.

Example when Tsukuyomi was used all the way back in part 1 people were already looking out for Amaterasu and Susanoo.

Same thing here. When izanagi came into play people were looking out for izanami and tbh its was obvious that though we will not know what izanami exactly does it will be in relation to izanagi. That much for obvious.

Some say it would be best if izanami was a ems technique but that makes little sense. If izanagi is a basic sharingan genjutsu that requires no eye contact, chances are izanami will also be a a basic sharingan genjutsu which requires no eye contact.

Both had similar foundations.

The only thing i agree with though is that it was rather too convenient. By that i mean the people that the technique in theory will work best agains't are people like kabuto. Though some say it may possible work on anybody, im not too sure. If kishi made it a way that it wasn't so much specific to a few shinobi's therefore taking out its convenience we wouldn't be having this discussion.

But you see, more people saw izanami on the horizon than kabuto getting any form of sennin modo training or mastery. But also gaining all the abilities of the sound 5 and majority of team hawk. Him gaining orochimaru's abilities was clear as he absorbed his remains though

Kabuto couldn't accept that he is who he is and tried to become someone else (Hence running away) so Izanami trapped him. It can work on anyone who meets the requirement in the bold.

it doesnt matter if itachi explained it. it came out of nowhere for casual readers not acquainted with myth, and just so happened to be perfectly tailored to the situation. we will never see it or hear about it again because it was an obvious plot device used up already.
and it cant work on people who arent either spamming izanagi or running away from their mistakes
