Sakura gets too much hate

Am I the only non-Sakura fan who thinks this?
People say she's useless. I disagree. She's primarily a Medical Ninja. Saving lives isn't exactly useless. Also, her Yin Seal thing + Katsuyu is pretty strong. I'm not saying she's very powerful or anything, but Sakura is not fodder. (a disgusting term that was regurgitated by some stupid member here years ago.)

I agree, she's not useless what so ever, but my dislike goes towards her personality and some of her fans. They expect people to like her because she does something they find amazing. Or when a majority of her fans complain about haters, but will turn around and hate on another character themselves.

Fodder is a term that literally is food given to Cattle. The actual term people refer to is Cannon Fodder. Sticking to the term, it basically means that this particular collective of militant forces are used to exhaust the ammunition of the Cannon. As such, when the main forces or elite forces move in, the enemy would be either depleted or low on ammunition for the cannons... making the attack far more effective.


So literally speaking no one is fodder, because no one in Naruto typically serves this purpose... the only people having come remotely parallel to this term would be Jiraiya, Team 10 and Kakashi before Naruto arrives, and Konoha during Pain's invasion. For in all of these times, people weakened or revealed a weakness of their foe before they were defeated.


But speaking in "Narutobase" terms, she's FAR from fodder, and FAR from useless. People just cannot appreciate the roles that characters play in this manga, and end up hating on them before looking at any particular character before bashing.
