Who's ideals do you consider to be more idealistic? Naruto's or Hashirama's?

Both of them strived for union and peace but their beliefs are quite idealistic if you look into them. But who's do you think were more idealistic? Naruto or Hashirama?

Hashirama considering they were actually put in motion for decades with only moderate discrepancies (that usually involved rogue ninja or Uchiha). But Naruto's will ultimately trump over all in the end.

EDIT: WOAH! I read that completely wrong. I thought it said realistic. If it is idealism, than Naruto by a country mile!

Naruto is more idealistic.

I mean Hashirama atleast had experince and political knowledge to build and rule a village; so he could back up what he was trying to accomplish. Naruto jumps into idea of peace and says "i will bring it!1!" without knowing much.

Hashirama is an idealist by nature but when he came to make a decision about killing madara's for everyone's good, he had the guts to do it. I don't know if naruto could ever be this cruel to sasuke or to anyone.

naruto's ideals are way too unrealistic (for example two people are fighting/hate each other, he comes in and say something like "i will carry your hate" and BOOM problem solved WTF) and the only reason characters follow him/believe in his ideals is because this is what the writer wants/what the story is about (a fantasy where a character can just show up say whatever and every one will be cool with it/think he's right/problem solved).

they all want to achieve peace BUT at least hashirama would strike madara down if he poses a threat to innocent people (with his power he has a huge responsibility), while naruto's "ideals" got him in a serious dilemma when it came to sasuke.

Idealistic is Naruto easily. Realistic is Hashirama, because he believed if everyone joined hands together true peace would be achieved.

Although Naruto inherited the Will of Fire originally passed down from Hashirama, i would say Narutos ideals are more idealistic. he seems less naive than hashi was at times and has for the most part, proven his ability to change that which was once negative (Nagato, Gaara, Kurama, etc) into something positive. The fact that it is his goal to do this to the Ninja World (unification of the Kages and villages for the purpose of protecting him indirectly) proves to me that his goal is something that can be obtained. The challenge is if he can truly change Sasuke (obviously).

So i would say Naruto. although without Hashirama, none of this would have been possible.

I like Hashi's ideals, even though being unrealistic his ideals were hard and fast for anyone...
e.g. He intended to kill Madara because he attacked his village...

But in Naruto's case, when Itachi asked, 'What will you do in case Sasuke invades Konoha??'
He being slightly delusional replied he'd save both... Now that's BS...

Edit:
OP says idealistic...
Naruto hands down...

Naruto is the most idealistic. Hashirama's friendship with Madara sparked the idea of creating a village shared by clans, but Naruto's idealism encompasses everything - shinobi world and tailed beasts.

Naruto's but you do realize that he will succeed in the end, after all it is a work of fiction.

Naruto seems less aware of his abilities to bring forth peace, whereas Hashirama has a small understanding of his capacity.

I'm going with Naruto.
