It was announced on the official "Attack on Titan" that the final "Attack on Titan" episode will be in movie theaters in Japan September 28th which signals the end of this anime moving towards the spring anime in October.Are you sad or happy to see "Attack on Titan" end?

I wasn't expecting it to end so soon, especially with its popularity. Then again, they are catching up quite fast to the manga so they need a hiatus to avoid making fillers.

Hopefully they'll pick it up again for season 2 in a few years.

The series itself is not ending; season one of the anime is. It has already been speculated that season one was going to end with a total of 25 episodes, not to mention, at an extremely cliff-hanger-y moment (which I am not going to spoil). That said, the manga has yet to have enough content for a second season, so it's safe to assume that it's going to take a while for us to see the second one.

A single episode covers about a chapter and a half; currently, the manga is only about 15 chapters past the point where season one is going to end. If you still don't get it: there is not enough content for a second season.
