How strong is prime Nagato compared to Hashirama?

Just going by assumption, how strong is prime Nagato compared to Hashirama. Would Nagato be near Hashirama's level or does Hashirama completely dwarf Nagato in strength?

Debatable, but no. Base Hashirama was taking on EMS Madara with Susano'o who is > Nagato. Nagato doesn't take Hashirama in any instance.

I will assume that you're talking about "healthy" Nagato which can also win against Hashirama if properly debated...

But most will blindly say Hashirama even though the only Nagato we've seen is a limited one. Most do not understand the true strength of a chakra tank with the Rin'negan.

A big part of this debate is whether or not Mokuton is ninjutsu or not. And, I've seen a few give magnificent answers on how Nagato can over come Hashirama's larger attacks via Chibaku Tensei...

Once must admit it's surely reasonable to suggest that SM Hashirama won't be having the hardest time with Prime Nagato. But most honestly forget or ignore all of the Path's and their feats.
