I'm so ready for the season to start. This thread will be to discuss the season as it progresses.

College football by far my favorite sport. I live in Columbia, SC, and my team is the University of South Carolina. I was born in Warren, Michigan so I also pull for the Wolverines.

I'm curious what college football teams to you pull for, and what player are you most excited to see play?

I'm excited to see Jadeveon Clowney!! Everyone's probably seen this, but I can't resist=D.

That's cool. I don't think I've been to an ACC stadium yet. If I do go it would be West Virginia, or FSU.

I like Mizzou, but they are not good anymore. They use to be good with Chase Daniels and Jeremy Maclin.

I love Florida State though. I also think Oregon is good.

The games are interesting today. I like South Carolina as I stated, and they won on Thursday. I think Florida looks good on defense, but mediocre on offense. I'm surprised by Texas A&M's defense, even with 6 starters out. I don't get all the Clemson or Ohio State love. I think both teams are over ranked. If Georgia runs the ball like they should I think they will destroy Clemson.

south carolina did as expected against north carolina with a new look. I will say that their defense looked alot more winded then I thought and im starting to believe clowney may be all hype. Im surprised by a&m's defense alright. And by that I mean how bad they are. Theyre allowing rice to stay up with them and Manziel cant fix that. They seem to be very weak on run defense and that aint gonna cut it in the run heavy sec. I havent watched the florida game because i knew it'd be a blow out and i took a nap before the big game i stayed up late last night lol. Dont sleep on clemson, clemson can be for real and even if georgia has a good game they can be beat. Ohio state i completely agree with you, theyre in a weak conference, have a weak schedule, and they are a weak team. Georgia and Clemson will be a great game. Im also planning to stay up to see Cal and Northwestern

Here we go. The biggest game of the season is here for my team. South Carolina vs. Georgia. I hope Georgia's offensive line is as offensive as they were against Clemson. Time to make it 4 in a row for Carolina!

nah they were REALLY exposed against nc. They tried to put it off but i knew. Jadaveon clowney gets 1 sack, and reveals himself to be hype

Jadaveon Clowney gets one big hit and suddenly becomes #1 in the nation.

I don't think Clowney is a bad player, and he should be considered as one of the best defensive players in the nation. I think the problem for South Carolina is we lost a lot on defensive. We lost all our starting linebackers, some safeties, and our left defensive end. Georgia really exploited that yesterday. 90% of their run plays were ran away from Clowney. When Murray passed it was a 3 step drop most of the time. Last year we had the linebackers to stop Gurley and this year we didn't. The problem is the rest of the defensive isn't on par with Clowney.

Teams the rest of the season are going to try to quick screen us or run into our linebackers to get away from Clowney. ESPN has hyped Clowney to mythical proportions. I think the only way he could live up to expectations it is to have 6 sacks a game, uncover Jimmy Hoffa, and turn super saiyan.

I just have to hope Georgia loses twice, but I only see one loss to LSU.
