i have always used same pass since 5th grade
was it yesterday or day before that narutobase was offline and most likely programmers updated base okay that's good
but then i find out my password was ?? i dont know it didnt log in, if here hasnt been update to force password be "8 symbols or more* *big letters prefered* and stuff like that my pass should have worked

i ordered my pass to email which was hard coz unforseen problems and finally im in

Question: my pass is now computer made and hard to remember so how i change it?

and one other thing when i beliieved my account is gone is next to impossible find emails of global mods etc,,

Go to User CP > Click the "Edit Email and Password" setting on the left > Enter current PW and then enter the new PW you want.

NarutoBase got hacked, so they forced you to change your password. Sign in with the password they gave you, then go to your profile and change it.

Don't change it back. The Base wasn't upgraded, it was hacked. If you want to change it to something simpler to what you have it to now, then follow the same method you did to change it to your current one.

Go to User CP > Click the "Edit Email and Password" setting on the left > Enter current PW and then enter the new PW you want.

This method would probably be easier than clicking on 'Forgot your password?'.

Read my 3rd sentence, that would let you know I'm aware he wants to change it. Clicking on 'Forgot your password' is an alternative method to change it. I simply forgot about the other alternative, and told him to use the method he most likely used to change it.

Indeed, but he wanted to change it back to his old one. It's imperative that he knows that's not something he wants to do. Not even sure if he fully understands that. I hope he does now.


Since English isn't his first language, everyone was confused to what he was actually saying. I'll give my interpretation to make it easier on the mod that may sum up the answers.


1. He couldn't get in due to all the passwords being reset (thought it was because of an upgrade).

of course i assume is offline due updating this hacking scene was total suprise, thanks to that base might lose very many NB users
