Naruto won't become Hokage.

He has been saying it from chapter one so of course he will be Hokage in the end, besides he has other reasons to be Hokage now, he wants to change the world.

You're making the mistake that his sole reason for becoming a Hokage is to be acknowledged. He found many other reasons to become one ever since part 2 started.

If Tsunade die, Kakashi will take her spot..Naruto is only like 17 right now, way too young to be Hokage. They even said Kakashi was too young to be Kage at the time of Tsunade injury..

If Kishi is gonna keep Naruto going for part 3 or just skip to it in part 2.. Just gonna have to find out. But yeah, he will become Kage one day.:I

who knows, but it is most likely that he will become hokage. Because he promised nagato that he will bring peace to the hidden rain as hokage just before nagato died.

Yeah, he promised Neji he would change the way of the hyuga once he becomes Hokage and he promised Granny Chiyo that he would become a better hokage than the once before (well, she told him to promise her). So I don't see how he won't become Hokage after he made so many promises.

Naruto isn't the type of guy to give up on anything, especially a dream he's been fighting for since the beginning.

Alright so before you start yelling at me hear me out.

In part 1, Naruto wanted to become hokage because he wanted everyone to respect him. That's because he had such a bad childhood without any parents, and because he had the Kyuubi inside of him.

Now that we're in part 2, Naruto has defeated Pain, and saved the Shinobi Army multiple times, earning the respect of everyone in the village. Naruto has no need to become hokage anymore. It sounds sappy, but I think that's what's going to happen.

Itachi already said the only way you can become hokage is after gaining everyone's respect. All naruto is doing is fulfilling the requirements.

kakashi was too young? Minato was kage at age.....what 20somthing?Garra is what 17-18? kakashi is in his 30's. He's old enough.

I agree in a sense, i would like Naruto to show that maturity as a character to realise he already got what he thought hokage would give him. IMO if Tsunade steps down from her position it will be for Naruto no questions asked and i don't see her dying now as she just bounced back from the face of death twice in one war.

Get it right, Naruto's motives have changed when he actually becomes Hokage (peace instead of trying to get everyone to respect him) but his motives for achieving the title haven't changed. He wants to achieve Hokage because he knows he can.

When have you ever heard Naruto say "I hope I earn the title Hokage"? Never, it has always been "I will achieve the title".

I understand why you think Naruto doesn't need to become hokage anymore, but once again back to Itachi's quote. You're implying that being the Hokage would earn you respect in the first place, which it doesn't.

Naruto hasn't got everything that he wanted, you're forgetting about his own desires. He might've only wanted respect in Pre-Shippuden, but after facing Pein and so on, he decided he wants peace in the ninja world, and being hokage he could change the systems that messed everyone over and finally end the cycle. That's the bigger point of this whole plot.

I'm not so sure that he has to become Hokage anymore either. This war changed many things. You can't bring peace to the ninja world by only being in charge of one village. He has given his word to people in other villages that peace in the ninja world is his goal. That was Juraiya's wish too and he has taken it as his own.

The ninja villages and the samurai have formed an alliance and are working together. They have all admitted that the old ways are what caused this situation. They might find other ways to govern themselves after the war. Naruto might wish to travel around like the previous SO6P to learn how other villages and non ninja villages do things to get ideas about how to sustain peace. Just like they ended part 1 with him travelling and also had him leave in part 2 for training it is possible that part 2 could end with him travelling to come up with ideas before he becomes Hokage.
