The 'dome' raises up off the ground. The snow monster stands up completely. The snow swirls around Jack. "Well, until he dies, I'm keeping the sword and Scarlet." The snow engulfs Jack and the the monster. They both disappear.

Ryun: not for the reason you think...Pain is up to something...im trying to stop before his influence gets to high....

Hebi: Not for the reasons I think? What reasons do you mean?

Hebi: I don't really believe in the black and white concepts of good and evil. I just think there's a deeper reason as to why.

Hebi: Ahh, so now you're threatening me. I could help you through this, if you only allowed me to. You say he's committed these crimes. Fine, he has and he did, but what exactly are these crimes? I was away for awhile, so maybe they've occurred during my absence, but do I not have the right, as one of you, or your brother's, close circle of friends, to know?

Hebi: While the last two are lost on me, as I don't know who your ex is, I can understand the first two reasons. But, do you not think that death would be too much of an "easy way out" for Pain? Would imprisonment not be able to have him sit down and contemplate his wrongdoings, in the hopes that he can be released into society as a far better person because of confinement? Killing him does not solve much in the grand scheme of things.

Ryun: -sigh- the last two are war crimes...during your absence, me and pain found out we are a species called Abatu Shinigami...we got into a huge war on who would lead our tribe....during that war, pain murder innocent people...and tried to murder the mother of my first born son, Dante....all prison will do is give him reason for vengeance....and for him to return to kill more than just those who are associated with me....hebi, i know you don't understand..but this is the only way i know that he'll learn his lesson.....

Hebi: Well I'm sorry about your son's mother. Had I known that I wouldn't have questioned your motives. Okay, so let's say that you are going to kill him, and you most likely will, how are you going to go about doing that? Plant poison into his food? Have someone who can get close enough to him do it for you? A battle? Another war? What if Kayame, Sai, or even Thadias, though he may not, retaliate, after Pain's demise? What then?

Ryun: they dont even know about this, why would they retaliate? and even if they did....thats why i made a deal with jack...-he laughs- if someone wonders why jack would do it....i can say jealousy...or something...pain did attack him...maybe vengeance? i dont know...

Hebi: Once he is dead I'm sure they will know about it. And, they will most likely retaliate against your hired gun, Jack? Of course I could just tell them that you hired him, but that won't do either of us much good. This place has always been too dramatic for my tastes.

Hebi: Possibly, but who am I to tell you that you're screwed. I'm only a Fairae amongst demons, shinigamis, and whatever else that's in the Underworld. I'd say I'm practically nothing compared to you all. Oh well, have fun murdering your brother, cousin, or whatever he is.
