The manga sys tobirama is the one who created kagebunshin. So it obvious that first hokage might have considered kagebunshin as forbiiden and it encrypted in a scroll and sealed.

Kage Bunshin was the first Jutsu he came across. If it wasn't there he would have went on to learn another 'forbidden Jutsu'.

It would also probably mean that the variations of the Kage Bunshin would be learned by Naruto. Like the Shuriken/Kunai Kage Bunshin no Jutsu. And I'm pretty sure that's the scroll the contains the information on how to perform the 8 trigrams sealing method, Edo Tensei and the Shiki Fuin. Who knows what other badass Jutsu were in there?

How does this thread even make sense? If he didn't have kage bunshin no jutsu, there wouldn't really even be a manga. He would either have another jutsu, or wouldn't be existent. :yeah:

Yea I agree about learning forbidden jutsu. But if kagebunshin don't exist how can he learn variations of kagebunshin.
The variation can only be exist if kagebunshin exist.
