top 4 most underrated characters IMO on the base

Completely agree all these characters are underatted by the vast majority of this base

Pein was said the have never lost a battle, was able to solo villages, deafeted hanzo and his men all alone, was able to fight and stop 6 tails naruto. Was said by Obito that he is invicible.
Reason he is underated is cause he was defeated by SM naruto. What people fail to realize is that Deva was inactive most of the fight, Naruto has tons of prep time, full intel, 3 sage toads, and ma and pa to help. Also Peins mission was to capture.
If deva was active and was trying to kill Naruto even with all the intel and the toads would have been killed mid difficulty.
Yes a healthy Nagato himself is stronger than Pein no doubt however the only ones i see beating a fully powered Pein is Madara, BM Naruto, Hashirama, and Obito.

2 Jiriya

One of the legendary Sanin. He had a huge amount of chakara , had sage mode, was able to fuse with ma and pa, has disastrous genjutsu, immense physical strength, and a wide variety of jutsu.
He meet his end against Pein but had no intel, almost anyone put in Jmans postition would have died. Itachi said he could not win evenw while Kisame was by his side. We have seen much of what Jiriya was able to do but no one gives him his credit where its worth it seems, some say he is fooderized by itachi and what not.

3 Muu
He can fly turn invisible where he cant be snesed and has dust release.
He is easily top 10 no doubt, personally i think he can take the likes of Sasuke. Susanoo has nothing on Muu cause dust release detroys it. Having a technique that turns matter into nothing is extremely op. That being said and seeing what he has done it should have to be explanide why this guy is super poweful but yet rarley ever makes it to top 10

4 3rd Raikage
This guy has tailed beast size chakara is pretty much untochable, has super strength and is incredibly fast. RS had almost no effect on Raikage and it took his own power to defeat him. Seeing that he never makes it on top 10 is pretty crazy to me.

I agree with most of these except 3rd raikage. I don't see that many people bash him and he wasnt as known for his speed but incredible endurance btw, though he was fast. Also J-man gets alot of love even if hated by some due to fanboys of j-man over hyping him alot.... not that he isnt a boss but so many threads had people saying j-man destroys Itachi and Kisame. I'm not saying he would lose to Itachi due to his immense knowledge of jutsu and experience but there is no way he'd destroy him.

btw nice thread its always interesting to see who people think are undervalued

We dont know the means by which Madara won, which to me is a plot hole by kishi cause dust release should go right through susanoo. And iwasnt saying he beats sasuke im saying he can take him on.

Im not disagreeing about sasuke being an idiot but to say Muu isnt at all op due to losing to madara who is by far near the top of the list when it comes to the strongest is kinda silly.

Kisame - bijuu level chakra, was killed by underrated people like guy and bee, so was not considered top tier

killer B are underrated big time. Killer B pretty much killed sasuke 3 times, but was saved by plot, never in top 10 because he was ignored in war arc.

Tsunade - she is under tobirama and Hashi, but she is pretty strong kage level imho, she has incredible strength, regeneration, chakra reserves, and katsuyu summon is better than people think.

The Gokage's feats are overlooked after Madara defeated them. They are extremely underrated and hated.

I disagree - I don't think any of those characters are underrated, barring the third Raikage perhaps.

I think base Kakashi (i.e. Kamui aside) is extremely underrated. I still see people regularly citing his Part I feats as if they are still relevant. You'd be surprised at how many "he can only use Raikiri a few times and then he dies" posts I see around here.

I also think Kimimaro is underrated. You'll see people skip over his regeneration abilities, his nigh unbreakable body, the Chidori-like sharpness of his bones, top tier speed, excellent reflexes, and a great Taijutsu style . . . only to say he got beaten by three "Genin," which mind you, were heads and shoulders above "Genin-level."
