Lately people have been saying that Hashi can't compete because now Madara has both wood style and rinnegan, and they basically drawled at the VOTE. People forget that Madara had the power of the NINE TAILED DEMON FOX on his side in that fight. Essentially, Hashi was fighting two opponents. Granted, wood style and rinnegan are huge power ups. But if anything, now they are even. Madara is no stronger than Hashi.

It an even match up, but due to Madara having Preta Path, all jutsu is irrelevant. Sage mode might be able to do something though.

Well, edo Madara can summon meteors and stabilize his PS into something larger than Kurama. Plus he has all of Hashi's non SM techniques.

its pretty obvious that madaras rinnegan and mokuton are a nonfactor if you were to look at their current fight. its only PS vs mokujin. people need to take off their selective reading goggles.
A hasty Generalization; your mulling on Hashirama's behalf seems to be continually fallacious. The Manga does not revolve around what you think should have been done at any time but rather what the Author see's fit in order to progress his plot. For example: Kakashi not using Kamui against either Kakuzu or Hidan despite having the technique.
OT: The Kyuubi became apart of Madara's power/arsenal prior to his battle with Hashirama; similarly Naruto with the Gama summon/Kuchiyose's in general.

the manga shows what a character can do. any argument that involves any extrapolation to any degree whatsoever on a characters abilities is fanfiction. any extrapolation of feats is fanfiction. that is not what i have concluded. that is fact and is a universal truth for debates. no proof=no argument.
