New Nintendo 2DS... Seriously...

Nintendo just confirmed hours ago, that on October 12 a new handheld is joining the 3DS family, but the new handheld doesn't have a 3D feature, which makes me wonder: Why Nintendo?

here are the details:

So what are your thoughts folks? are you exited? or just pissed at this? are you going to buy it?

I think of this new 2DS as new GBMicro, and we all know where the Micro headed... to the Console Graveyard lol.

What i dont understand is why make this crap? no 3D effect? is it hard for people to turn the 3D effect off on their 3DS? lol

it appears DS games will still have bad resolution just how they look in the 3DS, they could've at least fix that!

they didnt even add a GBA apparently...

It always hurt my god damn eyes! I had a headache after five minutes of game play..

So at the end of the day, it was like I bought a 2DS, STILL! I clearly bought a 3DS!

I only use the 3D effect on cut scenes, or on special occasions.

Seems a bit pointless to me, especially since you can turn off the 3D effects on a 3DS anyway.
I'd expect most people would just wait for the 3DS to become cheaper instead, so then they would at least have the option to turn 3D on and off if they wanted to.
