There are two possibilities , either of them could happen because we don't have enough knowledge about what was the rules of recent act by naruto and minato !

We should agree for sure that Kakashi received Kyuubi's chakra as other shinobis !! that's a fact !!

1) as some of you said , Kakashi maybe brought back to this dimension by FGT , and he is between shinobis somewhere !!
or
2) he couldn't Brought back by FGT from that dimension ( we don't know , maybe FTG doesn't work on that dimension ) but Kakashi sure recieved Kyuubi's chakra , so he is able now to use kamui and come back to this dimension .

This^ it shouldn't matter what dimension he's in since all the chakra cloaks are linked kakashi should of been teleported too. If not then that just gives him chakra to kamui himself out

In addition, I'm sure Kishi has been notified or is aware of Kakashi's godly handle on Sharingan and how long he has been using it. As much as it pains me to say it, there's a chance that the reason Kishi decided to bring him back via FTG was because he went blind in his Sharingan eye.

It would make a reasonable follow up to him returning.

The only person who's dying once Kakashi gets back is Juubito, and Sasuke if he looks at him the wrong way.
