If Neji never fought Naruto

What would happen to Neji if he never fought Naruto in the Chunin exams and still hates Hinata and the rest of the Hyuga or was it Hinatas father? either way do you think he would of gotten stronger with hatred. Heck Kishi would of gave his Byakugan even more feats and levels lol.

They could have used that to actually keep the hyuugas in the main plotline. With both Neji and Sasuke's hatred, they could have been excellent protagonists that would even bring back team guy into the picture.
