Part 1: Naruto vs. Sasuke
Most people would assume that Naruto would be the one to become the new sage of six paths, But for more reasons than one, Naruto I believe has no real potential of being a ninja that powerful, even though he knows a great deal about sage abilities and jinchurikii chakra and how to control it. I entitled part one, "Naruto vs. Sasuke" Basically to detail the relationship they possess as both friends and distant enemies. Had the alliance of Konoha not been assumed, Neither Sasuke or Naruto would have been born, But since they were, the fact that the tables turned the way they did, Sasuke is the runner up for assuming a natural Rinnegan, Simply due to his bloodline being connected to the Uchiha, and because of Sasuke having unlocked EMS, there is no other level to be unlocked other than Rinnegan, Which Im assuming will manifest itself sometime within the next few chapters. The fact that naruto is more powerful than Sasuke gives me reason to believe that the story is not over yet.
Part 2: Sasuke path to becoming the new Sage
This part will be a little harder to explain. Simply put, I believe that amongst the secrets in the Uchiha tablets reveal how to control the tailed beast. Since Orochimaru never seems to die, Sasuke is still vunerable to whatever trick the Sage has left. But with that being said, Orochimaru has not really shown his face other than his encounter with the near dead Kages, But since he is on Sasukes side, which is the good side, he isn't going to try anything stupid until the right moment. Anyway, where im going with this is, While Sasuke is not really as hyper and willful as naruto, he makes up for it with his sharp resistance to being overcome by power and is more able to control his chakra, more so than naruto. As this is his strength, if by this point he has unlocked Rinnegan, then he will be able to throughly manipulate all types of chakra, more so at a jonin level, as his chakra is not fully attainable due to his curse mark. The fact is, if Sasuke becomes the new Sage of six paths, he will be the person to stop and seal obito.
Part 3: Juubi Naruto Vs Six Path Sasuke
Sealing obito is not only something that would be difficult, the question is how to seal something as power as a juubi jinchurikii, Now as a way to shorten this. Sasuke will be able to solve the tablets in his head now, having seen it all with his Sharingan now memorizing it with his Rinnegan, he and naruto will go on a full rampage against obito, until a point where obito cannot retaliate. At this point Sasuke will use some kind of technique, which Ill call the "six path seal" and using it he will create seal the chakras of obito into Naruto because of his friendship with the tailed beast the response to the seal would not be uncommon. Afterwards, to control the seal properly, Sasuke will enact a "double edged sword" given naruto the one through ten tail chakra, but sealing the overall jutsu formula to himself which will give him boost of chakra with every weakened seal, A large seal would appear on Sasukes back, similar to the sage of six paths coat, as with Naruto growing stronger with the Juubi power, Sasukes' seal would grant him more power as well allowing a fair battle if Naruto were to become out of control. With Naruto as the Juubi Jinchurikii and Sasuke as the Sage of Six paths, their team would be at complete perfection, as Naruto and Sasuke would now be at the same level, and their well balance shinobi methods would become as a singular overpowering force in the shinobi universe. Also with Sasukes' new found power, he will break Orochimarus curse seal.
Between Sasuke and Naruto the battle would be way to much and like said to sasuke, if they were to battle again, they would both die. In a general sense, their deaths would be the official end to story with them both powerful ninja.
