"The Last Son of Senju: Minato Namikaze"
It is always of my belief that the 4th came from a very special clan as powerful and influential as the Senju’s. His God-like speed, amazing reflexes & keen analytical abilities already put him above on top of the shinobi world very much like the Senju Hokage brothers. But the most important skill that Minato possess is his ability to control chakra & this is what made him consider that Naruto as his only heir will be successful of taming the 9-tailed beast chakra in future times. This thread’s primary purpose is to highlight this special ability of the Namikaze’s & why I believe they were connected to the NarutoVerse most powerful clan namely the Senju.

Part 1. Minato’s shared similarity with Tobirama!
Before I begin, it should be noted that the dynamics between Minato and Tobirama Senju is very unique. Both men seem to have a great level of respect for one another especially since they seem to operate the same in battle in terms of thinking. The fact that they are both users of the Flying Thunder God Technique also seems to factor into this as each has praised the other's speed and quick-thinking.

Aside from their battle prowess, both shinobi’s also possesses an advance tracking abilities by simply touching the ground with their index fingers.

But what really surprises me was the fact that the 2nd can tag a person without even him noticing that he was marked with his FTG formula. Not even sharingan, rinnegan byakugan or sensors knew that the mark was already applied. This is very much like Minato's FTG & we all know that they used their chakra in applying the jutsu. To sum it all up, Minato & Tobirama shares so much in common. Being fast, quick-thinker, sensors & both became Hokage. Since I find it hard to believe that the word “coincidence” exist in this series, I view these similarities as clues & important pieces to solve Minato’s secretive lineage.
Part 2. Minato’s shared similarity with the Rikoudu Sennin!

First off, both shinobi’s were hailed as the savior in the series & Minato was considered by one of the Leaf’s Sennin –Jiraiya, as the “Child of the Prophecy”. Also, only these two shinobi’s in the entire series were shown to have the ability to divide bijius to a great extent. The Sage divided the Jubi into 9-Chakra Monsters while Minato separated the Kyubi’s Yin & Yang part consequently divided it into two beings. Further, aside from the Sage’s coat & spiky hair resemblance, the only thing I could think of was the bijiu chakra cloak that surrounds the SOT6P’s body all over. It’s also important to remember that the Sage had this transformation only prior from him being the Jubi’s jinchuriki. I called this Jubi-Chakra Mode as it looks exactly the same when Naruto or Minato activates their Kyubi-Chakra Forms.
In addition, it’s significant to note that every Jinchuriki appears differently when their entering Bijiu-Chakra Mode. Killer Bee as well as RS Obito’s physical appearance looks entirely different from Naruto & Minato when their using this forms. Thus, only Minato & Naruto’s forms shared the same similarity with the SOT6P when using his Bijiu-Chakra Mode.

Part 3. The Descendants of the Younger Son: The Senju Clan of the Forest!

But enough with the Senju history, what truly captured my attention on the younger son is because he seemed to have the same chakra cloak much like Naruto & Minato when they activates their Kyubi-Chakra Forms. Thus, I theorized that the younger son became a jinchuriki in some time of his life. He acquired the same form as his father after the Sage became the Jinchuriki of the 10-tails.

As I’ve said, different Jinchuriki’s appears physically different as they activate their Bijiu-Chakra Mode. Only Senju members who inherited the Sage’s body shares the same physical forms as they enter Bijiu-Chakra Form. Hence, I assumed that the reason why Minato believed that Naruto will control the Kyubi was because they actually came from the Senju Family.
Abstract:
- Minato told Naruto that he sealed the fox within him because he believed that in time Naruto will learn to control the Kyubi because Naruto is his son. In line with this, I assumed that Minato must have a Bloodline limit. Not may be an obvious one like Mokuton, Hyoton, Sharingan, Byakugan, etc..., but rather a more mysterious one. This mysterious one allowed his son to gain the ability to control the Kyuubi completely and became its first ever Kyubi’s Perfect Jinchuriki. As such, Naruto were able to learn & masters the jutsu’s that even his father failed to accomplish when he was alive.
- I always thought that the Senju’s were much more diverse than the Uchiha’s. They were basically a collection of ninjas who shared a common philosophy, rather than blood. Tobi mentioned that the Senju’s dominated the post of the Hokages. If Minato was a descendant of the Senju clan, that would make Naruto a descendant of the Senju as well. There would be greater significance in Kakashi's statement about Naruto and Sasuke fighting in the Valley of the Ends reminding him of the fight between Hashirama and Madara. Sasuke standing on Madara's statue, and Naruto standing on Hashirama's statue was more metaphorical, as Sasuke and Naruto were the legacy of both of their philosophies.
- To further support my claims above, we can clearly see here that Tobi talked about Senju and Uchiha, fire and hatred, then Sasuke and Naruto.

Perhaps the obvious answer is...
--Naruto is a Senju & he will be the one to end the “Curse of Hatred” that was once in the Uchiha towards the Senju.--
