Just thought of something that may relate to your point. Actually the stick things seem to be very fast. Fast enough to get through Neji's heavenly-rotation something thats never been done before. Neji even said the main reason they get through is because he can't spin fast enough to parry all of them.

I always thought Sai was underrated, obviously he is Danzo's prized ANBU for a reason. I just checked in the 3rd databook and Sai has a speed stat of 3.5 compared to Sasuke's 4.5. But thats base speed, and its hard to argue from your manga scans that Sai's body-flicker isn't quicker.



Sai and Sasuke are equally as useful right now only difference is that Sai is looking for an opening whilst Sasuke is trying to catch flies with his mouth open.

How is it hard to argue? You just stated fact from the data book? look at it logically Sai has to draw his brush open his ink draw and form a hand seal. To use his technique sauske either uses his dojutsu or makes hand signs and uses jutsu. Even in this instance sauske is more efficient. I could care less about either character personally all tho if I had to pick one that i cant stand the least it would be Sai, but does anyone use logic when they make these threads?
