Naruto originally needed the Kyūbi's chakra to summon Gamabunta and Minato summoned Gamabunta on top of tons of other chakra taxing jutsus including teleporting the Kyūbi's Bijudama twice. teleporting the Kyūbi, fought Obito, and using the Hiraishin jutsu several times.

It's clear Minato is not something average in terms of chakra reserves.



The Edo Tensei jutsu does not give you the benefit of infinite chakra, rather unlimited chakra. An example would be Mū, the Nidaime Tsuchikage, was unable to use Jinton after splitting his body due to lack of chakra, implying that Edo Tensei does not grant you infinite chakra.

Minato's chakra is same as that of Kakashi or abit above Kakashi(Around Jman's level but abit below Jman),It is not that he had larger chakra reserves ...He is god tier when it comes to chakra control so He can produce max result with Min amount of chakra without wasting any...!

About your Clones point, anyone who can use a SC can create thousands, but that splits their chakra into 1/1000th's which would be retarded for anyone other than an uzumaki for example. So yes, minato can use SC outside of KCM, but it's impractical in a real battle for him to use more than one or two.

Nope only Naruto and Hashirama can creat that many ,may be 100 or 200 are the limit for PPL like Kakashi,Minato and Jman(abit above Minato) or even 200 is toomuch for them ...

Sorry for missing this, but the range between Jiraiya and Kakashi is immense. Jiraiya is capable to use the Sennin Modo, which requires immense chakra reserves, and Kakashi is noted to have small reserves. I would say Minato is more around Jiraiya.

And yes that is another reason why the idea that Minato can not even use Kage Bunshin while alive is just outrageous.

This is a statement that can not be disproved or proved.

In my opinion, however, I would allude this notion to a Shinobi more like Itachi who has been noted to have a rather low chakra reserve. For Minato, on the other hand, it has never been clear on the extent of his chakra reserves and it is then assumed that his chakra reserves are average for it not being noted to be large, which is ridiculous claim...

I base my response on the fact that Fuuinjutsu requires precise chakra control. If he is well versed in it and incorporates that into his style numerous times then he must have a superior control over it.

Likely superior chakra control is a large point of Minato's style, however, that can only take you so far. Itachi, a likely master of chakra control [like I mentioned earlier], could not defeat Sasuke in Katon for he lacked in chakra reserves due to his sickness. High chakra reserves and superior chakra control together are likely used by Minato making him able to do the chakra-taxing feats he does.

I fail to see the reason that you put Tobirama above Minato...

Never stated in Manga....nither Minato nor Sarutobi are average Kage.....Only thing that Hashirama and Tobirama had above Minato and Sarutobi is thire Senju bloodline ...!

I would've added a few points though that when Minato uses self FTG it takes more chakra than thought because Minato is 179cm with heavy mass. Also on that night he used chakra for keeping the Kyuubi's seal intact during Kushina's labor, summoning Gerotora, performing most complex seals that take huge chakra [Kakashi performed a simple seal on Sasuke's CM but it took a lot of chakra U_U]
