Excluding the edo tensei people and of course Obito. Kakashi has been one of the most useful people in this war. He has especially been useful against Obito because he possesses the same eye. He managed to fight V2 tailed beasts and tag team the stronger villans in Narutoverse. All Kakashi lacks is chakra.

The only reason he's not stronger than the current kages right now is because he's not Uchicha so the Mangekyou takes too much out of him. If Naruto is there to give him chakra then this is not much of a problem. He is better than most kage level ninja as a support to Naruto.

His skills are great! But 2 things that is powering him down are his stamina and chakra. If he improved those 2 then he will be more stronger.

But if you exclude his/Obito's sharingan, then he would be still a skillful person but not that great. The sharingan only gives him to copy jutsu''s and comprehend on the enemy's attacks.

Yeah, and Sasuke shat his pants at the sight of Zabuza. Equally valid argument to say Sasuke<<<Zabuza.

Besides, Itachi didn't move? You might want to read the fight again. Even in part 1 Kakashi kept up with Itachi and forced him to use MS, otherwise Itachi either couldn't win or the fight would be prolonged too much.
And then Itachi was trembling after using Tsukyomi on Kakashi. Hardly negative difficulty.
