[Discussion] Favorite and least favorite antagonist in OP

I started One Piece a few months ago. One of the things I really enjoy about One Piece is the amount of people the Straw Hats go up against. Seems like these guys are always running in to trouble but that's a pirate world for you.

Anyways, as the title mentions, who is your favorite antagonist or enemy of the Straw Hat Pirates? Opposed to that, who's your least favorite antagonist or enemy the Straw Hat Pirates have gone up against? Do you dislike that character because of what they have done or do you think there just a bad character?

For me my favorite antagonist is Enel as you might be able to tell Lol. For one, Enel just has a cool appearance to me, the man summons himself as lightning and was always confident for the most part.
He wasn't taking anything seriously until he encountered Luffy and even then he came up with a good plan to fight his weakness that he didn't even understand! He's pretty smart with his Devil's fruit power like heating up the gold rod and beating his heart back to lifeO_O That moment is easily my favorite of his in the manga. Even though Luffy finally beat him, he still remains a badass character in my eyes :scorps:

As for least favorite, it's this guy, mine would be Marshal D. Teach, Blackbeard. I don't like him for his actions and what he's caused in the manga. Killing his comrade for power and then SPOILER ALERT

Being the reason Ace (my favorite character!) got captured and his eventual cause of his death. Killing Whitebeard and taking his power, didn't like that either :'(
Don't like Akainu either as he talks big, he's arrogant and he killed Ace :/

He's a true pirate, I'll give him that but I just don't like the guy because of what he's caused and what he's done in the manga.

Well those are my two, so what about you OP fans? Tell me your least favorite and favorite antagonist.

My least favorite is Foxy.

Enel was pretty cool...wasn't too big on his ego, but I can't blame him!


My favorite antagonist would probably be Doflamingo or Crocodile.

Both are just badasses. Crocodile takes the serious straightforward end shit method. Doflamingo alternatively trolls. But both do not take shit from anyone! They also have their own schemes, and have no problem using the Schichibukai to achieve them.


Least favorite is probably Foxy the Silver Fox....or Monblank Cricket's Monkey Pals.

Favorite antagonist = Kizaru (my favorite character)

Least favorite protagonist = Idk, Usopp
Least favorite antagonist = Gekko Moriah. So freakin' annoying.

Enel is awesome, he now lives on the moon....THE MOON.
But my favorite is Kizaru,
Least is blackbeard, he is annoying and gets on my nerves.

Crocodile and Doflamingo are both cool characters. Crocodile didn't give a f*ck about anything and was ruthless. Doffy is a character who you can't predict and he's always smiling. As KGB said below, he's such a troll and that's a big reason why I like him.

Foxy was just wack, wasn't a big fan of that arc with him in it.

Favorite would be: Kid
Least: BB, Caesar.

I want to see more from Kid but he's looking like a cool character so far. I'm wondering what is the extent of his DF powers. Caesar annoys the crap out of me with laugh of his.

Yes! Crocodile and Doflamingo are both awesome, it's undebatable. DD being a troll is awesome, best troll in OP for me. I liked Enel's god complex, that's actually something I forgot to mention in the OP Lol.

Moriah was okay. I just didn't care for him, I liked seeing Kuma in that arc though

Favorite: Probably lucci or Magellan. Both just seemed so freakin strong and Magellan turned out to be pretty much invincible before the TS. Don't know how Haki luffy would perform against him now tho.

Least favorite: either Akainu or spandam. Both were the biggest douches I've seen in this show yet, for different reasons maybe but I hate them both equally

Kizaru is funny, his face hardly changes and he's just whatever about everything. He's also OP as heck, I want to see Luffy fight him again. Sanji is badass and I've grown to like Usopp after the timeskip... Don't really have a least favorite protagonist but Gekko was annoying, I was glad that arc ended when it did and I'm glad DD got rid of him.

Law is one of my favorites overall, he's an awesome character with that chill, badass attitude but then his reactions to the Straw Hats. I hope we get to see some of his past
Man, it's too bad Kuma didn't stick around. Ceasar's laugh annoys me bro, it's too high-pitched for me Lol

Forgot about Lucci, I liked his character too and he had a legit Zoan fruit power. Akainu is a huge douche but I think I dislike Spandam even more. He was so weak but full of himself and all that shit he did to Robin, he was terrible. Guess that means he was good antagonist if I disliked him that much haha.

Lol Aokiji is SUPER cool. He's so chill (no pun intended) and he was funny with his first words to Nami. He slaughtered the Straw Hat crew and it was nice to see them completely helpless for once.
That would be the best death for BB, I hope it happens

Crocodile has a badass laugh too, but it doesn't look as good as the others in text. You dislike my favorite :erm: Oh well, at least you dislike BB too =D. The only thing I like about BB is his laugh, he has a good villain's laugh.

Yeah Whitebeard was a lovable character, loved that he called all his crewmates his sons and family and he truly made Ace feel like he had somewhere he belonged. Lol Gedatsu was funny with the way he always rolled his eyes up, can't believe he lost to Chopper the way he did.
Vivi was alright, I liked her for caring so much and wanting to stop that war. But out of all the protagonists, she's the one I don't like as much as the others but I still liked her.
I dislike Akainu for the same reasons, and he's kind of a douche with his BS justice talk.

DD huh, quite a surprise Jk, he's pretty cool though can't wait to see more of his powers he looks like he's giving Law a beating right now.
Well I didn't like his organization but I liked Crocodile, even Doflamingo liked Crocodile!

Good list, I think everyone can agree that Foxy just sucked, he just wasn't as cool as every other character in OP for me.
