Kakashi stated that he would Kamui the Juubi would it even work due to the fact that the Juubi can't travel through dimensions using Kamui... Remember Kamui is one in the same similar to Shisui eye's the way Danzo and Itachi ka worked differently but it still had the same affect in the end...

I don't think Kakashi could have really pulled it off. I think Kakashi would have gotten overwhelmed trying to pull it off, even with a cloak. Kakashi might have been able to take off a chunk but we've already seen that the Juubi can purge and grow back (?) new parts.
