Kakashi wins. Part 1 characters are so underrated. Kakashi's doton blocks darui's suiton and kakashi has great and way better suiton than Darui like Giant Vortex Jutsu which has the potential to wipe Darui out..

Kakashi can also use his Sharingan to see through Laser Circus and use his own excellent raton to counter. Plus he could use clones to possibly catch Darui off guard.

Kakashi has also copied over 1000 jutsu at that time so he would be very adaptable for what Darui throws at him.

Kakashi was able to keep up with opponents with impressive chakra like Zabuza so Darui wouldn't be that threatening. Kakashi high diff

Well, I'd definitely rate current base Kakashi (no Kamui) above Darui. It's just that the Part I iteration of him lacked the majority of the techniques he has now (Raikiri variants, sourceless Suitons, Doton wall), and lacked the speed and Taijutsu feats that make me rate current Kakashi so highly, not to mention the stamina disparity.

What significant Doton does he have in part one? I'd like to know. Darui sweeps him in Suiton plus Black Lightning > regular Raiton. Raiton isnt countrring Laser Circus seeing as how Ranton > Raiton. Darui also has Shadow Clones (Daburu Kuropansa). Kakashi has no feats using Futon no significant feats using powerful Doton in part one. Seeing as how Darui literally disarmed Kinkaku and Ginkaku, and Kinkaku and Ginkaku > Zabuzu, he's fodder to Darui. Darui wins mid-high diff.

Why is sourceless suiton a no go, fodder nameless chuunin during the war have shown to use Warer Wall and water offensive techniques by expelling it from their mouths. Also, Water Trumpet technique, a c rank technique that according to the data books is a basic Suiton that requires the user to expel water from their mouth. This tech was used by Yahiko before Part 1 so expelling water from the mouth is useable by Kakashi of course. He doesn't need a source as long as he has enough chakra to use the tech.

1- Darui's Shadow clones are just filler, he can't use clones in the manga

2- Kakashi's abilities with doton were good in part 1, he could use hiding like a moll (wich is in fact his most useful doton)

3- Why do you get Zabuza here?

4- Kakashi counters black lightining and ranton simply with speed and clone feints, Base Kakashi is a lil bit faster than Zabuza who is faster than Darui, so Kakashi can outspeed Darui to stop his atacks

5- Kakashi's summons and Kage Bunshin would outnumber Darui, Who CAN'T USE SHADOW CLONES so he wouldn't have the time to use black lightining or Ranton
