It's because I woman is seen as being a being who should save herself for her male counterpart and no open up her legs for every tom, d1ck, and harry. A woman should treat her body as a temple and not allow every man to enter.
But like men, women also like sexual gratification, so some choose to seek out that sexual gratification and they aren't ready for a committed relationship.
They generally call women sluts, because they are either mad because she didn't want them, or they are masochistic and raised to believe that a woman is only made to please one man, and be his servant.

Or woman call other sluts
Because they envy her freedom, because of the way they were raised, or because they liked one of the guys she sleep with,and because they are jealous.

And because a womans v-room is a special place that will oneday give birth to a child, and you shouldn't disgrace your childs gateway like that.

And it's okay for men because they are seen as impulsive and more in tune with there animal nature. And because all they do is inset nothing more. Men are generally viewed as dumb.
Though i dont condone sleeping around men and woman.

I have a bit on an insight on this, women usually say no to *** because the consequences are far greater aka pregnancy.. nine months and a kid to look after unless they get an abortion which is still a burden of emotional turmoil, whereas the male's consequence is little to nothing, the worst they can get is an infection therefore they are more likely to sleep around, it's part of the evolutionary theory, men have lots of sperm and women have fewer eggs so want the best mate possible... all science really..

I don't understand how if a woman does it she is a ***** according to both genders, but when a guy does it, he is a player, and just straight the sh-t.

Notice in music now and days, specially rap.

I get it, woman are suppose to be these goddess who don't sleep around and stuff, but if women get such insults thrown, so should men.
Its not fair, although I'm not saying, women should go around having *** with a bunch of guys. I just dont think its fair, for a women to get such treatment for something as sleeping around, but man turns around and does the same with being treated like a god by his friends and such.

I don't think a man should be exempt from being called promiscuous, but that's the way most people look at it. It all stems from the idea that men have a more difficult time getting women in the bedroom than women do, which from what I've seen is mostly true.

well biologically speaking its understandeble why man have this huge urge to have *** with many females...they DO have more hormons and such.. i mean its obvious one male could have hundreds of children with many women while a woman can just bear one child a a time... well the problem is that our society just isnt yet at the point.. even though we call ourself modern we still have our issues like homophobic people or this example you mentioned...maybe one day in the future women with many partners wont ever be called sluts and bein gay wont be a problem ond so on...
