Considering that she is a normal girl and solely rely s on mere chakra control in all of her attacks, she is pretty powerful and can kill alot. That is great to me, no only that she has the attitude for learning genjutsu, let alone powerful healing techniques. Not to mention she is extremely smart, can master jutsu rather quickly and is a master medical ninja

Well the only problem is that she was never labeled an underdog or anything. She's also noted to have naturally great intelligence. Regardless I agree.

Sadly Kishi failed this theme with Naruto, Hinata, and Lee.

With Naruto they turned him into a child of prophecy from a powerful clan.

Despite being failures through lack of natural talent or a mind set not set up for success... Both Lee and Hinata were shown to have the same mind set as Naruto, but their hard efforts have hardly paid off... Which I personally find doesn't help the theme of "hard work and the will to never give up will prevail".

I don't expect them to go solo Pain, nut they should have gained notable strength compared to their peers who did not necessarily share the protagonists ninja style.


And it was already noted Sakura did have a strong determination set so naturally Kishi finally showed it pay off.... Though he could have better developed it.
