if kishi announced he wanted to spend more time with his family and less time working on naruto so he would only release chapters once a month.

obviously if there was a holiday or something then it would be pushed back a month.

would you mind or would you respect kishis wishes to work less.

personally, I would be really annoyed even though kishi already works really hard.

No I wouldn't be okay but I'll be a man and deal with it. Plus I'm going to school in less than 3 weeks so yeah it probably take my mind off it. Also the anime would have to be cancelled for a bit of time or FILLERS. The anime would catch up to the manga really fast

the good thing is there would be at least four times more filler episodes for naruto.

each episode of canon could have 3 fillers to go with it.

or each manga chapter could be spread over 4 anime episodes.

I guess a single episode usually does more than just one manga chapter though, so it could be like 20 fillers for every actual manga episode

If the story was still great, I wouldn't mind Naruto being a monthly manga. The quality would most likely remain great or even improve. But since it's just a decent story now, I'd be pretty upset, because I just want to see this manga end.

you are right though, it would be at least another 5 years before naruto would finish, and probably another 3-4 years before this fight ended
