Fanboying Problems

I would just like to start off by saying that Jiraiya is one of my favorite characters along side Tobirama, Ebisu, Sasori, and Deidara so I might be fanboying a little. Also I am not using Edo Tensei as one's power.

Countering Manda

This is simple. Jiraiya has one sure fire method to get rid of Manda, and that is to let Gamabunta and one other boss toad fight with him. Bunta already proved he could fight with Manda and not be completely outclassed, so one other boss toad such as Gamahiro would help even the odds to a stalemate or a toad victory

The anime made it seem like it took forever for Jiraiya to get into Sennin Mode. Well, it doesn't. I am not saying it is quick by any means, but it is not as slow. Jiraiya would summon Gamaken, the most agile toad Jiraiya has too offer, and start summoning the sages

. Toads themselves are very speedy, and agile creatures. There is no doubt it could out run Orochimaru or his summons until Shima and Fukasaku are summoned. Once he enters Sennin Mode, Orochimaru is doomed.

Countering any other Snakes

Any other snake summon would be countered due to Swamp of the Underworld. When the Swamp is made with Sennin energy and when Jiraiya is not drugged, it would undoubtably drown any of Orochimaru's snakes with Sage Art: Geomon, bar the 8 Headed Hydra. Jiraiya has two ways to deal with the 8 Headed Hydra. One way is too get Fukasaku and Shima to wrap it up and cut it as seen

Notice how Fukasaku cut through steel. He would be able to slash through the Hydra. One other way is the Frog's genjutsu. It is one of the strongest genjutsu in Naruto, and the Hydra has no counter as seen

. I know he was using the pipes to his advantage, but the Hydra would still hear the croaks and fall victim to the genjutsu.

Killing Orochimaru

Alas, the trickiest part to this fight. Once Jiraiya's has dealt with the snakes, he has Orochimaru to deal with. In Sennin Mode, the user more or less becomes a super version of their former selves. Adding Shima and Fukasaku even increase Jiraiya's intelligence, and they would be indescribably helpful. It is no news flash that Jiraiya outclasses Orochimaru in speed and taijutsu while in Sennin Mode, and with the help of the sage toads Jiraiya is now as smart or smarter than Orochimaru.

A couple Sage Art: Geomon should kill Orochimaru, as he has no counter except for using Oral Rebirth which would eventually tire him out.

1. poison blood. jiraiya has no counter
2. hydra mode. tall, huge, and provides protection from nearly anything jiraiya has
3. superior speed and arsenal that can take jiraiya out long before he even gets the time to enter SM, such as formation of ten thousand snakes
4. orochimaru can paralyse jiraiya by giving him a curse seal.

also you seem to hold onto the belief that orochimaru will just STAND THERE and let jiraiya go SM.
step 1: cover the entire battlefield in thousands of snakes
2. blitz to jiraiya himself
3. extend kusanagi and cut gamabunta or whoever in half
4. KO jiraiya with either kusanagi slash or poison blood.

oro can counter yomi numa by sticking kusangi in the ground and using it as a foothold. its worth sacrificing a boss snake to get rid of the jutsu. also if yomi numa was so OP why didnt jiraiya drown pain

Would have been useless vs Animal Path as Animal Path was always standing on his summons and would have been useless after Preta Path arrived. He did however use it to trap

4. Ya. SM reflexes won't allow that.
