Naruto never lost Sage Mode at any time. He couldn't fuse with ma and pa because of the Kyuubi. This simply means he can't stay in Sage Mode indefinitely. Obito on the other hand completely lost his ability. Now I can buy if he is afraid of using it because kakashi is in the other dimension and might wail on whatever part appears in the kamui dimension.

I can even except that the Juubi isn't completely under his control yet and is interfering with his own chakra. But just to erase his signature technique simply because he is now the Jiuubi Jin is a weak excuse.

When Kakashi first started using Kamui he could only take small things, it's true it progressed to bigger sizes but so did too the chakra cost of using Kamui.

Being the Juubi Jin, Obito would have to transport not only himself but the whole Juubi with him, that's an immense mass to be Kamui'd easily and quickly. So it would make sense that Kamui is a no go if he wants to remain the Juubi Jin.

On the other hand it might be a good idea to wait for *********** Release, just to make sure. Eitherway I don't feel like Kamui restriction for Jinshuriki is an ass pull.

But Kakashi Kamui'd the hachibi in it's full beast mode state. How is it that kakashi who isn't even a jin nor has large amounts of chakra can teleport a full sized bijuu and not Obito who is, more or less, the new SO6P? Even if he doesn't have full control he is not in TB form, nor is he out of chakra, so how is it not a tad lame that now he can't use it at all? Even if he couldn't use it on himself he should be able to use it on others as Kakashi did with Bee. Even if it was intended it is still a weak excuse not to have him use Kamui anymore.

If anything I would have had kakshi take his Sharingan eye in their 1 on 1 then Obito would have been left with the Rinnegan thus ending his Kamui use. A little more plausible then simply saying that he can't use it anymore because he is a jin or can't control the Jiuubi. Still this isn't all fact yet so we will see if he can use it again or not.
