[Discussion] Erza vs Mirajane

Mirajane focuses too much on power and speed, and her personality becomes more violent, and thus losing some rationality.

Ezra is a more tactical fighter. Also, het armour allows her to gain a multitude of various abilities or enhancements ranging from attack spells of water,.fire, and lightning....to resistance with an insane defensive armor.... fire, water, and lifhtning resistance.....speed enhancements.....and ultimately when removing armour she's becomes far stronger and seemingly agile. With her recently displayed armor she is almost to some extent OP if it really operates how she says.

And even then she most likely hasn't shown her strongest armor.



Mirajane expels a more violent looking/stronger offense; however, matching intelligence and strategy Erza wins.

Mirajane might be more fire-power or speed...
But let's not forget Erza's intellect and versatility in fighting...

They were rivals in the past so that means they were equal. But Mira stopped using magic for 2 years while Erza still did became stronger. However we shouldn't forget their strength vary with the transformation/armor&weapon they use. Mira has at least 3 (that much is known if I remember correctly) different transformations with different strength, while Erza has an unknown variety of weapons and armors what she can mix together.

Even if Mira has the more power and speed, Erza can reply with a combination that matches it. Either with speed, or defensive power or offensive abilities. In the end neither can defeat the other in a short period of time, so it would all depend on a long fight, what would be decided by the amont of magical power, tactic, stamina. However in those feats Erza is superior.

I would say they are equal or Erza is slightly stronger.

Mira isn't really in the very top of FT anymore. Makarov, Gildarts, Laxus, LFD Natsu, Erza and ISD Gajeel are imo all stronger

at one point Mira was equal to Erza but than she stopped using magic while Erza progressed a lot, so Erza is stronger, Mira is not weak by any stretch of the imagination but Erza is simply stronger, that should be evident after her fights and I don't think they are as equal anymore as some ppl think

Mirajane is quite strong actually, it's not by any chance she's known as the Demon Mirajane... But, like he^ said, Mirajane stopped using magic for awhile, whilst Erza evolved her powers to a whole different level than Mirajane's.

Not just Erza, but there a lots of people who got stronger than Mirajane because of this, like Natsu and Gajeel.

Continuing with the topic, Erza now has (currently) her Second Origin unlocked, which means more magical power, and a beautiful and outstanding set of armors! On the other hand, Mirajane has only shown us two Take-Over forms, including her strongest one (which she didn't show its fullpower, unfortunately).

So yeah, Erza is currently one of the top 5 of Fairy Tail, but Mirajane is was below her... I would put her at 7-8th place...

Mira hasn't really gained a lot of panel exposure so we can't say for certain.

Mira's techniques are on a larger scale and she's much faster than Erza, but Erza is very sound tactically and is strong overall. It could honestly go either way, but I say Erza high difficulty.
