Man i hate it when people say that naruto is for kids and it doesnt have benefits blah blah blah my cousin once told me that why do u watch this crap what is the benefit and that it's for kids i didn't listen to him but naruto really benefitted me i now understand the social life more than ever(peace , hatred,giving up, love,war...)well he watches south park can someone tell what does south park benefit???

True but south park rocks it doesn't benifit is anything like an anime does but it does give us a laugh and mocking famous people from their mistakes it's fun to watch =D

I think anime is a genre of cartoon. "A cartoon is a form of two-dimensional illustrated visual art. While the specific definition has changed over time, modern usage refers to a typically non-realistic or semi-realistic drawing or painting intended for satire, caricature, or humor, or to the artistic style of such works." Anime generally fits that description.

not only animes are cartoons by every definition. naruto is also a kids show by every definition.

what you should tell your friend is that even kids show can teach and inspire you. every form of art has layers to it, most people only see the first layer, but if you take your time and dig deep you find those hidden deep layers that hold a truly unique view and ideals about life.

thats naruto to me, a kids show with very small and rare instances of unique talent, but when i find them they are better then most of the "dramatic and inspiring" adult shows.

i will give you an example from another field, with the new iron man movies everyone know who he is, but most adults discard the character because he was designed for kids and is in kids tv shows and movies. well i dug up a little and found that in the original (comics version) of iron man, the most toughest villian iron man had to deal with was alcoholism, there is a story where he is getting addicted to alcohol, then goes through withdrawl and after some tragedies going back into alcoholism. it's a deep and hidden layer to the character that 90% of the people who know the character don't know of. they only know of what they see in the first layer which is the movies and tv shows.

This comment I'm about to make will probably lead to me getting an infraction but I must say it. I find your sig highly offensive. I try not to but I can't help it.....making a joke like that, mocking the bible and the idea of stoning.....do you realize how horrifying being stoned must of been? You would cry like a little ***** and so would I most likely. Whether you believe gay marriage is right or wrong doesn't matter because if it's in the bible that way then you should respect the religion enough not to make fun of it and give others the wrong idea of what it means.
