Considering there will be no trouble after this war as there will be "peace", Shikamaru would probably as the best option so the Hokage doesn't have to be as strong, but Naruto is the most qualified.

He's the son of the fourth Hokage, student of the students of the Third and Fourth, one of these being a Sannin, on good terms with the Tsuchikage, best friends with the Kazekage, and earned the respect of the Raikage as well as saving the village twice. The villagers like him too and he has a massive reputation. With good people by his side (Kakashi and Shikamaru), his ability to sway the hearts of those around him will be excellent for diplomacy and thus makes him a good Hokage.

1. Kakashi- Even though Naruto has surpassed Kakashi by far he lacks what every hokage has. That would be knowledge of sealing, and hand signs to which Naruto could hardly do. Kakashi is a well rounded ninja of skill, intellect, and power.
2. Naruto- He's contributed much to the village. He's more loyal to the village than any other person. Every acknowledges him. He's the most powerful person of the Hidden Leaf. But when it comes to wisdom and intellect he falls short of kakashi. (But I'm rooting for Naruto to be hokage)
3. Shikamaru-When the war is over the people need a logical person for the job. To help organize and and make agreements and pacts with the other villages and coming up with a genuine plan for the villages to reunite. He's the man for the job. But he lacks the power to do so. Only his shadow possession jutsu is one of the only techniques he has. This is why he falls well short...
4. Sasuke- He's strong and a more well rounded ninja than Kakashi but here's the issue. He still has dark intentions and evil within him. It's hard to tell where his mind is right now. I think for Orochimaru when if you can't destroy the village. Why not take it over? Orochimaru will use sasuke to take control of the leaf. Who knows what he will do. That's why Sasuke is last.

Hokage is about making important intellectual decisions, but hashirama's personality is much like naruto's. Naruto without a doubt is the only choice for hokage, you guys are over thinking it. After the war arc no one will question that Naruto is the only person with the will of fire that will make for the Leaf's best hokage ever. just look at itatchi's quote about becoming hokage, it's time.. shika will take hokage spot if naruto goes and suicides trying to fight sasuke. but seriously naruto is next hokage, its plot, but also just plain common sense

The best Hokage would be Shikamaru, though in the times of emergency Naruto is the perfect choice. He has strenght to move people's hearths, to give them hope, and to pull trough no matter what.
Basically in the times of peace Shikamaru is the best choice, but in the war time Naruto is the one who is most suited to be Hokage.

Naruto is the chosen one! Itachi said himself that its not that if you become hokage you are acknowledged ,only the ones who are acknowledged are the ones who become hokage!.

Naruto wouldn't have allowed it to get that bad in the first place. This all started because the Uchiha were marginalised which wouldn't happen under Naruto

shikamaru doesn't have the power for the title of hokage and being smart is not enough look at shikaku arguably the smartest in the village yet was he hokage no shikamaru would do wounders as an adviser or a strategist
