Naruto travels back to the past and he made the child of prophecy. The prophecies would just be things Naruto had already experienced. Perfect solution to the destiny stuff and explains why the so6p was brought in WITH the child of prophecy concept in the same arc.

Time travel or reincarnation. That is it people. Way too obvious at this point, but sadly some haven't quite figured it out. Kishi is not that complex. Sage predicted that the bijuu would all unite and be led again. Only way he knows this is if he experienced it or he is the reincarnation of some sort and knew something of the sort would happen.
