That's enough plot reason why he can't die yet. Doing nothing to help a fight you say? You mean like the entire fodder alliance including Bee right now? Why don't they die then? At least Kakashi still has plot reasons to stay alive, and it's not as if a overpowered move like Kamui can't still be useful

Lol you talk as if you were kishi already knowing he will die. Would be laughable if it in the end it doesn't happen exactly like how many people wanted badly Obito to kill him only to get disppointed when he owned him like a genin

*sigh* Which development Naruto needs at this point? He is already mature like Minato noticed. He already lost his closest ones before and already had a mental breakdown after Neji's death during this war. It would have no value at this point

It would make people question why Neji's death was needed because he's developed from that. There will still be deaths in this battle, it just won't deter Naruto's will because he knows he has still has comrades to protect.

I want him to use Kamui on madara after he uses his trump card... So everyone is Yeaah no more madara, but suddenly madara's trump card kills everyone :l
