yeah, I realize she's not fodder. its just that when it comes to fighting she's pretty much limited to punching which is pathetic IMO. I honestly wouldn't even put her as a Jounin, she should stick to healing as a medic.

A supporting character disguised as a main character.
I don't really care for Sakura, but she's definitely not useless not completely. Shes a medical ninja, she's not a strong fighter and she's not supposed to be I don't understand why people don't get that. She gives great support, she can at least manage to stay out of harms way now (Yes I'm fully aware that she's known to be a ****-up but she hasn't really done anything you can hate her for lately) and she can heal on a large scale which obviously include her teammates.
That's the only plus i give for her. But the thing is besides healing, what she can do? for a main character, she has to be more quite amazing, don't you think? She seems to me like a supporting character.
