Katsuyu being Sakura's summon

You know Katsuyu being Sakura summon could be on play on Tsunade's abilities too, because it was kind of upseting that Sakura didn't get her own personal summon, but now I realized something. What if, it was meant to show Katsuyu's immortality, and she wasn't require to procreate seeing as how she can just split herself apart.
